I never did a dining plan on previous trips so I'm just getting started trying to figure out if it worth it for my family.

I booked 8 nights at the end of August. For room and length of stay park hoppers w/water parks I have a price of $2,790.

The CM was pushing the dining plan and quoted me a price including the dining plan of $4,139. According to my calculation that's a $1,349 cost for the dining plan. It is myself, DW, DD's ages 12 and 10. So that is 4 adults. From what I am reading the cost should be $37.99 per day, per person. But I'm getting $42.16. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks:goodvibes

Did the CM add in insurance when they added the DDP? You are right, it should only add $1215.68 to the cost of your trip.

Wow Liz... You're sharp for first thing in the morning! :thumbsup2

That's what it is. I was on the phone with the CM for so long...and there were so many number flying around I forgot about the insurance.

The first number he gave us was the $4,139 price which included insurance. By the end of the phone call I told him to just book the room and park hoppers for now and to take off the insurance. I never did get the price including the dining plan without the cost of insurance.

Thanks for the help. That's one less thing to worry about!!! :)

Liz is amazing with her numbers at all times of the day!!! She has helped me more than once here!!!
