I can't figure out for the life of me...

why people are buying 5% Target pharmacy coupons for $100-$160 on ebay???

:scratchin

I'm stumped. I know you can combine the 5% pharmacy reward coupons with the 5% Red Card discount, but still.. it's 10% off. To break even you would need to spend $1,000-$1,600.

Funny, I just saw that about two days ago and thought it was crazy. Couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Totally with you!

Really to get benefit out of the 5% they would have to be spending $2,000 - $3,200. They already get the 5% from the red card (without the extra pharm reward)

Maybe they are planning on buying a big tv? Other than that, you've got me, too.

I wouldn't do it, but my insurance plan is not eligible for the Target discount. Any insurance that is partially subsidized by the US Government isn't eligible. That law was written for Medicare, however it was interpreted to mean federal employee insurance plans as well.

Possibly some federal employee making big purchases.

I assume they are purchasing Disney gift cards to pay for a trip, therefore the savings is worth is.

I don't know, but I sold one of mine on there and now I am worried that they could be doing something not legit with it (what, I have no clue lol). It has me paranoid that the selling price just doesn't justify the purchase?? Since my name is on it, I'm a little worried.

There have been other threads about this, and one DIS-er who had actually sold several of them, did a google search on the address or the purchaser. I forgot the exact supposition that came from the info, but it was less-than-honorable. Like they were probably using them to buy lots of electronics, then smuggling them to foreign countries.

I thought you could not combine 5% pharmacy with 5% Red Card for gift cards anymore. I'm sure I read it somewhere.

You can't. Someone thought it was a good idea to bump a lot of old Target Pharmacy Rewards threads yesterday. This one is from Feb. of this year, which was prior to the change in policy.

I was the address Googler. (Is Googler a word? Well it is now!) If something seems too good to be true…….

A large, multi-million dollar international electronics ring. The thing I am still curious about is what is the limit on any single electronics purchase through Target? Or Wal-mart? Obviously patterns have been detected. I always thought it was funny that my monthly Costco coupons had ‘limit 5’ on cell phone discounts. My oblivious thought was, “Who needs five cell phones at once?” Ohhhhhh, the people who unlock them and sell them illegally overseas need lots of them at once!

As difficult as it is to imagine, not everyone is buying Disney gift cards and Elsa dresses with the 5% off!
