I bought tickets to MNSSHP for the kids as a surprise & I want to dress up but I can't decide what to be.

Any ideas?

Oh - please say you'll be Cruella Deville! DD was Cruella in her dance recital and the 70 dollar costume and the 35 dollar wig are rotting in my closet - probably forever - I'll send it to you - FREE! :)

We had costume day at school and the color guard decided to dress up as 4 year old little girls. We put our hair in pig tails and wore pajamas and carried around a stuffed animal. We all wore those feather boas (inside joke within the guard). I think I am doing the same thing for our band's Halloween parade.

We are still trying to decide what to be also. DD is going to be a witch. DH can't decide and I don't have a clue. Hoping you get some good suggestions. I will be checking back. :goodvibes

What day are you going?

Seriously!? That would be awesome. What size it? Thank you so much for even offering, very sweet thing to do!

Totally serious. My DD wears about a size 9 in women's clothes. The costume from Disney Store is an adult medium. If you want it, PM me and I'll send it to you. It makes me sick having it sit in the closet collecting dust.

And if you don't want it - if someone else does - yay! :teeth:

We are going on the 21st.

Okay now I still need help. :teeth:

I would wear something that isnt too hot. Even thought its October it was 90 degrees and humid this past weekend when we were at Disney. We were all sweating at 10pm!

That's the beauty of this Cruella costume. It's definitely not too hot. It's a silky black shift type dress with a silky red overcoat (trimmed with black & white spotted fur of course) - but overall, very, very light and breezy.

The wig is a hoot! Palmtreegirl has said she'll take pics of herself in it. :)

How cool that you're gonna be cruella.

I'm trying to track down a Charlie Brown shirt for DH, then I'll probably be peppermint Patty. After going to MNSSHP in very hot costumes, I'm all about something comfortable!

Charlie Brown is good. Maybe Mom2Ashli can be Snoopy and meet up with you guys.

Just wanted to share an idea if anyone still needs something easy and inexpensive for MNSSHP.

Old Navy has women's Halloween pajama pants on sale that are basically like hospital scrub pants suitable for both men, women (S-XXL) and even children (XS)! Coupled with a Halloween tee shirt from Old Navy, Target or Walmart, you could make a quick, fun costume that looks halfway decent. You could dress up your outfit even more with a few related accessories.
Posted this on another thread earlier. Maybe it will be useful to someone! :maleficen

Mom2Ashli, I'm game on the 28th if you want to be Snoopy :rotfl2: .

Now I need to get a tub of dippity doo to make the front of my hair look like a football. So glad I didn't go back to bangs yet!

Darn I will be there on the 21st. :guilty:

Last time we went to MNSSHP, we saw the cutest family dressed up as Mouseketeers. Each had a Mickey ears hat and a t-shirt with their name on the front. It was so cute.

DD and I went as witches that year. DH was a wizard.

I hope you all have fun!
