My husband just took out the overhead light in the kitchen with the champagne cork. I wanted a new fixture anyway. I jokingly said, "Aim towards my kids, but don't hit my teapots." He almost gave himself a heart attack and was whispering, "Call 9-1-1." Happy New Year everyone.

My DH put a hole in our ceiling one year I had just moved my head a little to the left and the cork missed my face by about an inch. Life lesson: never stand over the champagne while it is uncorked. You could put your eye out. Happy new year!
