We are planning on going for 2 weeks in October but now I just booked a week the end of may 05/24 - 05/30 - am I a crazy person??? I even booked a full hookup even though we are tent campers. Will I have problems putting a tent on a full hookup site?

I'm really happy and concerned I may be loosing my mind all at the same time - Whip

Congrats on the reservation! :thumbsup2 Welcome to the nuts house. Nuts about the Fort that is. Like thats a bad thing. You should not have a problem setting up a tent on a full hookup site. They have a sand pad area for the tent.

You will not have a porblem. A few sites have odd shaped sand pads, still not a problem.

Hey there!
Sometimes you just have to go for it- if you're feeling the need. Right? hehe

Hey we'll be there same time as you! We'll be arriving on 23rd- leaving on the 30th for our disney cruise. :)

When we went we had a pop up but still put a screen room tent and had plenty of room! put you tent entrance next to the concrete pad to keep the sand minimal in the tent. The concrete pad will give you more " living area" to spread out with chairs etc. HAVE FUN!!

We were in the 300 loop and when we arrived the site across from us had a tent. I think they were there for 2 nights. A cast member told us it was their first time camping. They seemed to manage alright.
