I cant believe how unlucky I am again! Swear im cursed, more surgery!!:(

Well like the title says I think I'm cursed!

After we decided last wk to go to Disney in November with our friends, and booking I've ended up back in hospital!!!
After being in since Monday I've gotten very very sick again,
As many of you already know last year I was very sick and needed major head surgery to my mastoid bone to remove a mass and a infection that was so aggressive it was eating away at my mastoid bone!
It only left me with 8 weeks to recover for our 3wk Disney trip......
So that had already been my 3rd OP as for some reason what I have is so aggressive it keeps growing again normally you don't need another op for at least 15 years if at all,
So imagine my disappointment when the CT scan showed that it was back, and that I needed major surgery again.
The infection has come back with a vengeance and is now sitting close to the lining of my brain.

I went down to theatre yesterday to have a central line put into my neck it took 4 hours to do " normally only takes 45 mins" since i have had these lines before it was very difficult they get more complicated, then it was wasn't in the right place so had to be unstitched pulled back up as it was too close to my heart redone!

Anyways I'm now feeling pretty sorry for myself, DH said to look on the bright side at least I have an extra month this year to recover! Lol

oh no i'm so sorry I know that there is nothing I can do that will make you feel better but I couldn't read and run.

I hope everything goes well for you and your recovery is quick. Just keep thinking of that Disney time to get you through

Aww Cindy I can't believe you have to go through this again, I'm so sorry. I know it will be difficult but perhaps you can think/concentrate on your Disney planning while you are going through this. I have now had my surgery,it was a big one again! The 1st 2 nights have been hell pain wise but at least it's done!
I'm still fighting the infection but hopefully the IV meds are tackling that.
