HELP!

One of my darling little fur babies (chihuahua) decided to pee on my brushed gold fireplace set. It now has a nice black area at the base. Any suggestions on how to clean this or do you think it is ruined for good?

I'd like to know the answer too. I find it very interesting and may need the answer myself someday. ;)

When I say this stuff is a miracle cure for anything & everything metal, I AM NOT KIDDING! Got it as a gift several months ago, and it COMPLETELY restored my silver wedding candelabra that I thought I'd have to throw away as it was so tarnished. I had tried every silver cleaner known to man, and nothing worked!

Best of all, this stuff has a protectant in it, so that whatever you polish (brass, silver, gold, whatever) will stay shiny & untarnished for a very long time.

Tooth paste might work. I worked on my silver jewelry when it turned black from chlorine. It has to be paste though, not gel. Good luck!!
