Hi!

I got some of the EA games that were on sale. But, I cant get them onto my ipod without deleting my apps and all their data?

I just want to drop them in!!

HELP!!!! Even tried going to the apps store and redownloading them since it was the same account, but it wants to charge me again??

Thanks!!

1st of all make sure you downloaded ipod/iphone apps not the ipad apps

- Then when your ipod is plugged in, open itunes and click on your ipod.
- Go to your apps tab
- scroll through the list of apps on the side and make sure your newly bought apps are checked to sync with your ipod (sometimes when you buy new apps they don't automatically check to be synced)

Next time, buy them directly from your Ipod with a wifi connection. They will download instantly on it, then when you sync it it will add them to your library.

Silly question, I know, but you do have an ipod Touch or iPhone, right ? We're not talking about a Nano. If so, once your device is plugged in, go to the Apps tab. Make sure it is set to synch apps. And then make sure it either says to synch all, or at the very least to synch the one you want(they should have checks next to them). Good luck !

BTW, once you download and pay for any app, you don't have to pay to d/l it again. It will look like you do because you will still see the price, but once you start to buy it, a message will come up saying you already purchased it, and do you want to download again? Then just say yes to that. You are only charged once per account for apps.

That was the first thing I thought of too...hope it's not just a regular Ipod.

thanks for having me check- yes its the ipod app. When I go to do that, i can see my apps, but they are not checked, they are grayed out. when i go to check the box that says synch apps, it says that it will delete all my current apps and their content. which I really dont want to do - is there any way around that?:surfweb:

That is how I usually buy them, and will always buy them from now on!:rotfl:

That is totally what I thought. so I went and found the app, went to download it and it said there wasnt enough $$ in the account to purchase.....(it was the end of a gift card)...what do you think? should I plug in my new gift card - I definately dnot want to pay for it twice..

my question is do you have more than one user on the computer? for instance my husband, my daughter and I each have our own log in/profile on the computer. In essence our itunes accounts are different even though they are on the same computer and have the same user id and password.

If the computer is logged into my daughter's account and i plug my iphone in, i can't download any of her songs or apps to my iphone. it would prompt me with the "wipe all material from my iphone"

i would email itunes support and see what they say or maybe check out some of the mac forums.

Why do you have separate iTunes accounts? If you have one, you can all share all songs/apps. (this is legal as purchase gives you household sharing rights)

One reason would be with kids to control spending if each kid had their own account they could have their own gift cards uploaded to spend. If they all shared one, then if one kid uploaded $10, another kid might spend it...

Just one theory
