I booked club level at AK yesterday- i didnt realize it was opening??

Yesterday around noon, ak cl opened up for sept- dec. I booked a few days! Now I'm looking for info on the reopening? Thoughts??

I would not expect CL to return until AKL is open. Disney has not announced the hotel side and at this point, I do not see it happening until sometime in 2021.

I think it opened up because people who had them bailed, knowing that CL will not be available.

AKL is closed, with no reopen date. No staff is being called back for Boma or Mara or Jiko. The hotel - not DVC - control the Club Level lounge, and if the hotel isn't open the lounge won't be either.

If DVC really insisted, they might be able to offer bottled water and trail mix. Certainly no hot foods or typical CL service. The financials don't make sense to offer CL to 5 2BR lock-offs.

People have reported being moved, buy someone posted on another thread that the website now says that people will be refunded points back to standard view level.

So, to me, it sounds like if there is no rooms to move people to at a Jambo or Kidani, then points will be refunded,

I do agree that people are switching for a September to Places they would rather be.

I have a club level stay in early October.I was originally told they would call two weeks before my arrival if club was opened.I talked to ms yesterday they said club returned because the rooms on the sixth floor were opened just no club service if it’s not available when we go they will refund difference in points to a standard room. The sixth floor is available on a first come first serve basis(not all the rooms will be opened for social distancing purposes)I think they are trying to fill rooms with the hope of club level

Thanks. It makes sense since we are entering a busy DVC time so the moving of guests that has happened was probably going to be an issue.
