I booked a vacation for September 2023. I have a question about tickets.

In the My Disney Experience app, I noticed under the 'Tickets and Passes' section that it appears we have digital tickets. Are these in fact our tickets to get into the park and I'm assuming the hotel rooms? We are going in little over a year. The last time we went was in 2012 and we had plastic card tickets. This was before magic bands as well.

So my question is if indeed the digital tickets I see in the phone app are indeed the actual tickets or do I need to be on the look out for the plastic card tickets as well? I just need a little clarification for those who can help. Thank you!

The phone app is your electronic placeholder. You will not receive a ticket card in the mail, though you can pick one up at the hotel front desk if you wish. However, you can access everything you need with your phone. You can scan into the park, Genie+ rides, hotel room, etc with just your phone app

Magic bands make it easier as you can strap it on your arms and not have to keep pulling out the phone or card all the time. They're working to rollout magic band plus soon though, so I'd wait to see what that is like before making a band purchase.

Thank you for that information! So the tickets on my phone are indeed what we will use once we get to Disney. Ok, I got it now. Thank you. Yes, it is exciting. It's been a long long time.
