I book ADR's 180 days in advance then early magic "fun"...

Personally, I don't think it'll effect that much considering it's only 3 rides.

Has anyone confirmed that early BOG reservations will be held back until later because of this events? I assume that will be the case...

From the Parks blog, a response to a question similar to yours:
Yes, you will be allowed out of the restaurant.

Breakfast guests will be treated the same as they are today – you will be directed to a queue after breakfast to wait until the park opens. (For example, if a group finishes dining at Be Our Guest and wants to visit Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, they are queued outside the attraction until park opens and then are allowed to enter).

Pinnichios can only hold 400. Not sure if they are held to that number in terms of these tickets but if so, that shouldn't be too much of an impact.

Five thousand hardly sounds like the 'limited' amount Disney has advertised.

Where do you hear you won't see the welcome show? That has not been on any press release or information from Disney so far as I have seen.

I know it can be frustrating. So take a breath and relax. You are going to Disney World! :)
I am making an assumption for June on the welcome show since Disney hasn't released that for June. But, for May if you go into the calendar they aren't doing the welcome show on these days.

I also called this morning and the lady pretty much had no idea what I was talking about and told me not worry because none of that was even taking place on June 14th. So I was literally trying to show her how to pull it up. You know in case someone wanted to call her up and give her some money and book it.

Well are they letting a couple hundred of people in or five thousand? No one knows at this point. Some people won't eat the breakfast. They will head to ride the mountains and will have a jump on people there for the regular rope drop. So, yes I do think it will affect me.

Plus I am bringing two kids who have never been, and I wanted them to see the welcome show that won't happen.

Plus, it's just frustrating and not fair for Disney to set up a system where you hyper plan and then change the rules last minute.
There is no way this thing will be several thousand.
1) There won't be that many people willing to pay for this.
2) They have to serve breakfast ... in Pinocchio Haus. So they need to limit it to how many people they think they can serve a buffet breakfast to in 90 minutes. Considering it seems just "open" .. or come when you want style of breakfast ... you figure it wouldn't be more than a few hundred people (Fill the restaurant to capacity maybe once or twice?) Granted I don't know what the capacity of that restaurant is.
3) It will take a while for this to catch on, and I wouldn't expect it to be sold out in the first few months.

Will it affect the welcome show? If this is limited to just a few hundred people, probably not. They don't have a special morning show for the people who have early breakfast reservations. I would imagine that the Welcome Show will still be at 9:00 AM as normal.

Yes it stinks when they change things when we plan vacations so far in advance, but there are so many things that can change at Disney that could change vacation plans .. weather, refurbishments, technical issues, etc. Disney needs to move forward with things and can't always announce things months in advance.

Just go with the flow, I bet you won't notice a difference besides not being able to "first in line" on the OTHER rides at RD, but the line will still be darn short.

Yeah, but that's not really true. People have been riding the mine train ride prior to park opening by booking a pre park opening breakfast at BOG, which is why it has been so popular.

Yes, I know. And we won't know how this will shake out until it actually starts, but it sounds like people with PPO BOG ADRs will be allowed to queue outside of attractions until RD - so there may still be a slight advantage over the RD crowd.
