We slept in a bit the next day. We didn't wake up bright and early, but we didn't sleep way in either. We headed to the food court for breakfast. I just had a side of scrambled eggs
I loooove Disney scrambled eggs!!!
The Boyfriend had an omelet
After eating we hopped on the bus and headed to the Magic Kingdom!!!
That day we had lunch reservations at the Contemporary. Since we'd slept in, we didn't have a ton of time before we had to hop on the monorail to get to the Contemporary. We had some time, just not a whole lot. As for what we wanted to do with this time... well... The Boyfriend and I didn't exactly communicate with each other too well on what we were thinking. And we weren't on the same page.
My thoughts were to kinda wander around and go on anything that didn't have a line. Then come back after lunch to do all the must rides with the longer lines. He wanted to go on the big rides first... even if it meant we could only go on one ride before lunch. This lack of communication led to much unhappiness later in the day!
But of course before we could ride anything we had to walk down Main Street USA first!
And then go see the castle...
And of course take several hundred photos of said castle...
Then we decided to hit up Tomorrowland
So I saw that there was no line for the TTA, so I asked The Boyfriend if he wanted to ride it. He said yes. This was where the miscommunication started. When I asked if he wanted to do something, I generally wanted to know "do you want to do this or not?" He assumed I was asking, "I want to do this! Will you come to?" So he said yes to everything I suggested thinking that I really wanted to go on these rides when really I was just trying to see what he did and did not want to do.
We sat across from each other on the TTA and had fun taking pictures of each other!
After walking around Tomorrowland for a bit, we decided we had time to check out one more Land. So we headed off to Adventureland.
The first ride I saw with no line is the Jungle Cruise. So I asked The Boyfriend if he wants to do it. Again, totally not on the same page. The Boyfriend agreed to go even though it made him miserable! He was thinking it was something I really wanted to do. *sigh*
After the cruise, I saw that there wasn't a line for Pirates of the Caribbean. We only had time for one more ride, so I asked if he wanted to ride it. He said yes.
By this point The Boyfriend was in a really bad mood. There was something wrong with his shoe and it was causing him a lot of pain and discomfort in his foot. Plus it was really hot that day. And we were a few days into our trip, so we were both pretty tired. All this was made worse by the fact that he felt I was dragging him on all these rides he didn't want to go on. So yeah, by this point he was no fun at all to be around. I felt awful! I kept asking him what was wrong, and of course he'd just say "Nothing". So we headed to the monorail to go get lunch... neither of us having much fun.
