are they ribs (like the ribs ate hoop de doo) or is it a rib steak? I looked online at pictures and it looks like a big ole steak.

It is not like the ribs at the Hoop de doo. It is a boneless piece of meat. After reading tons of great reviews about that meal I had high expectations, it was just ok, but the creme brulee made up for it.
The short ribs are marinated, then slow cooked in the oven for about 2 hours so it's not like a steak, but more like a stew. I enjoyed them. The meat was tender and well flavored.

Ordered the short ribs. Very tender, tasty and meaty chunks. Yes, a little fattier cut of beef than some prefer, but that's what keeps it moist and so tender. Nothing like Hoop de Do ribs though.
Order the sherbet dessert over the creme brulee. I still think about it and make yummy noises. The most creamy flavor infused sherbet (3 flavors in one dish) I've ever tasted, and I am not a sherbet fan.
