I received my Bare Escentuals today.I have been playing around with it and all I can say is if you have not tried you dont know what you are missing. It does not even feel like you have anything on your face.

Me too! I bought my kit about a month ago and LOVE it. Now I want to get some of the eye products too.

I have it...It's okay. I'm actually falling out of love with it, because it's messy, etc. I have the eye stuff and it's okay. I actually like Jane Iredale better because it's mineral makeup, but it's pressed, so it's not as messy. I'm not sure I will buy BE again. But it's tempting, because it can be fun.

So where can you buy the Jane Iredale? I use the bare minerals for eyes and it is quite messy.

I love BE too :) I only found it messy while I was getting the hang of it. Not a big deal now.

You can buy Jane Iredale online, or certain salons carry it. Their website will tell you what stores in your area carry it. Also, Kaiser derm department carries it. I'ts identical in formulation to BE, but for some reason I think it has better coverage and it's not as messy.

I started using BE about a month ago and I can't see myself ever going back to liquid foundation. :goodvibes

Okay all you BE wearers...I need more proof as to why you think it's so great. I have been pondering the thought of trying it but to tell you the truth, I wear liquid foundation and have NEVER felt like it is heavy on my skin. I use Estee Lauder and Origins products and like them.

What else is great about BE? Thanks! :earsgirl:

I heard people either love it or can't stand this product.

Why such a black and white about this product?

Is it really the brush that is great?

I would love to try this product but don't want to spend the $$$$ to sit in a cabinet.

Thanks.

I think it may be so black and white because it's such a different way of putting on foundation. It looks like a powder, but once it's on, it really is more like foundation. Some people have a hard time changing the way they use a product after they've been used to something else for years.
As far as it just being the brush that's so good, that's not it for me. It's the fantastic coverage that doesn't feel greasy after a few hours in FL. humidity.
If you just want a sample, try eBay. There are people on there who sell sample sizes, as long as you read their feedback, you should be ok purchasing it this way.

::yes:: I've been using this line for several years. I love not feeling like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. I can't imagine ever wearing anything else.

I quit my Arbonne business because after trying Bare Minerals, I couldn't with good conscience sell Arbonne when I preferred the Bare Minerals.

Does it stay on all day! I have a hard time finding something that remains on all day long.

I just got my first order less than a week ago, and although I'm still experimenting, I really, really like it. I work 12 hours shifts and it does seem to last pretty well throughout my day. The coverage is better than liquid (as I'm 38 and STILL fighting blemishes) and it feels like I have nothing on. After using Clinique for over 15 years, this feels so nice. We leave for WDW in 44 hours and I can't wait to see how it does in the weather down there (not that Georgia is all that much better) :rotfl: I can't remember who originally posted on here about the sale at MediSpa but a great big thanks to you.

I use it and love it.
The only issue I have had is that sweating takes it off, but sweat takes off all makeup. Or at least it does with me.
It is so easy to re-apply that I don't consider it a big.

Let me also say, that being fair and very sensitive to heat I do tend to sweat more than the average person........so that might not even really be a factor for most with the BE line.

Love it so much I am buying it for my mom, who has rosacea and adult acne.

A friend told me the secret to it being less messy (after I opened mine of course) was to not pull off the sticky tab but to poke holes in it. That way less comes out.

It is going to be Christmas for my DM and DSis.

I am totally new to it and I just got the kit with the foundations, warmth, and mineral veil. Can anyone suggest other things?

I have some acne scarring and just bad skin in general. Every foundation I've ever used (high end and not) always made me look cakey or like I was trying to cover it. The BE makes my face look the smoothest of anything I've ever tried AND stays on all day which is big for me because I tend to touch my face a lot.

I love mine! I got the starter kit. The only thing that I don't use is the "Warmth" as I obviously cannot apply it correctly without making myself look "dirty".

I use a bit of concealer (undereye) and a pressed powder (MAC Select). It's there lightest pressed powder. I have good skin but would not go without some make-up. That would be like going out without a Bra! :earseek:

Would you all recommend it for me?
