Okay here is the question...... If I buy say 50 points at OKW and 50 at say Vero beach, Can I book 11 months out and use all of them at OKW or just the OKW ones? I think I know the answer but it doesn't hurt to ask!!

You can book 11 months out with 50 points at the resort you own those 50 points at, then at the 7 month mark call and add to the ressie with the other 50 points from the other resort that you won't be staying at that trip.

At 11 months, just the OKW ones. At 7 months, you can put all your points together and use them at any DVC resort.

Another option for small contracts is to purchase the contract, and then bank the points into the next Use Year. By banking and then also borrowing from the following year, you can have 3 year's worth of points in one Use Year. Lots of people manage to have the 11 month advantage that way, even when they have a smnall contract - at least for a trip every 3 years.

Your 11 month booking advantage for OKW would only apply to the 50 OKW points. If you wait until the 7 month date, then all 100 points could be used.

I thought it would work that way but had to ask!
ps. I don't actually own either yet but am watching and waiting (for my DW permission) I am going to start with 50 points I think then add to them!
