Last time a DING came out for my area it was 64 each way but we'd have to change our original days and I could of added both kids to join us on our trip. But I hesitated, and it was gone . . .I figured, oh, it'll come around again . . .Now flights are up to 145 each way . . .I'm still hoping that something will come back out . . .I'll even book them for the 99 each way. And next time a DING comes out, I'm not hesitating at all!

We haven't has a good Ding since June.

They have all been $99 and my original flights were $79 with the return trip going on sale for $49.

I fear this is going to be the NEW SWA from here out now that their Gas supply they hedged is all but gone. Tine to look into Airtran.

This will be our first time flying SW, we only flew Delta before, but since Delta's flights were $$$$ for October, we bought 2 tickets when SW was at 64/going 99/returning. Now I just checked Delta's prices and they are 193./rt +tax which I definitely would of paid to have an assigned seat . . .I'm hoping to see SW lower a bit so I can add the kids . . .

we fly from Boston, so out of Manchester and the ding fares are usually terrible. We never seem to hit the great deals others get.

From your signature, it looks like you have a little more time. We actually booked a DING fare for $89 (not great, but I took it) and the next week SW had sale fares of $59, so we rebooked at the lower fare. I think the sale just ended, but keep an eye out for another one b/c it may be better than any DING fare anyway. I sure wouldn't pay $145 one way!
