I am SO proud of you Ornament Exchangers!!!!

I just had to say it. I returned tonight from a very nice trip to the World and I do have to say, and I know at least two people can vouch for me....I was so worried about the ornament exchange. I just read through the post, had some PM's, and have some checking up to do this week but basically you guys have done so well while I was gone. I swore I was probably going to come home and discover alot of problems but I didn't.....

And you guys are so very welcome!!!! Despite the fall that I had, I really enjoyed this and I appreciate the kind thoughts of those that wanted to send me ornaments...trust me, this year doing this exchange meant more than anyone will ever, ever know!!!! It helped to keep my holiday a bit brighter this year, which has been hard!!!

As of right now I plan on doing this again next year unless someone else would like to do it. So sure, go ahead and shop for your ornie for next year if you'd like (my problem is I might not remember where I put when next year comes around!!!! )

I too was one of the ones who wanted to send you an ornament! But I am like you, the joy you bring people is more that enough reward when you do something like that! I enjoy sending cards to people!I just hope that the postage doesn't keep going up! I write real letters to several older people in my church who no longer live here. I used to worry about what to write and I now know that I can just write about my day to day activities and they are happy. Wish everyone could be that content as some of these people are. I appreciate you doing this each year! You are a Christmas blessing to us here at the DIS!
