I HAVE DECIDED TO START MAKING MY LIFE BETTER WITH ALL OF YOU GUYS. I HAVE BEEN READING THE POST AND HAVE DECIDED IT IS TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE.

THIS MORNING I DID EXERCISE FRO 30 MINUTES, NOT BAD FOR MY FIRST DAY. I HAVE ALSO DECIDED TO BEGIN THE WEIGHT WATCHERS PROGRAM AGAIN. I AM NOT GOING TO ATTEND THE MEETINGS, SO I WILL NEED AS MUCH SUPPORT AS I CAN GET FROM YOU GUYS.

PLEASE KEEP COMMENTS COMING. I AM 5FOOT 3 INCHES TALL AND WEIGH 240.5 POUNDS SO I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO BUT, I HAVE MADE MYSELF GOALS...

SHORT TERM-5 POUNDS BY SEPT. 18TH (2 WEEKS AWAY)
LONG TERM-90.5 POUNDS BY NOV.18, 2007 (THE DAY WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY) :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

30 minutes is a great start!!! Keep it going!

WW is a great program! I do the exchange type thing which is similar, but I need the extra encouragement to eat more fruits and veggies! LOL

i have been impressed with everything i have seen so far on this thread. i think with the encouragement that i get from you guys, that will be what it takes to help me to achieve my goals. i have to say i am so inspired by your post. thank you for the comment

WELCOME!!!!! :sunny: We've "chatted" before and I am just thrilled to see that you've joined some challenges and have started your own journal! That's fantastic and I see you're off to a great start.

Our stories are quite similar (same age, hope to have a baby soon, etc...!!) so I feel like I really want you to succeed!! Do keep us posted on your success with WW. It helps having support from one another!!!! Keep up the great work!

As for your siggy, do you see on the top left of your DIS page, there's a "User CP"? Click on User CP. Next, click on "edit signature" on the lefthand side of the new page that comes up. Then, copy and paste the siggy you want to add into the signature box. If you're looking for siggy's, check out the sticky thread at the top of the WISH boards. You'll find some there. The exercise challenge siggy's that I have, I got right from the September exercise thread, first post.

If you want a ticker (like the one I have), click on mine. A new window will open with complete instructions on how to include it in your signature (it's basically the same method as I mentioned above).

hello everyone. to day was my second day of the dieting and i did great. i exercised 30 today and feel great i hope everyone else did just good. :cheer2:

I'm glad you got your ticker working! It's so much fun counting down the days until Disney!
 
everything is going well i stuck with e plan today and did not exercise but did run up and down my stairs at least 20 times today

I feel like our stories are the same! I am also 5'3" and weighed (about 1 1/2 months ago) 241.2 lbs at my heaviest ever! It took A LOT for me to start losing the weight, but now I'm down by about 15 lbs. and I already feel much healthier. Good luck, and I will definitely be checking out your journal!
 
i read your post and i am getting motivated again. i guess i just needed a buddy to do this with. after a week just gave up. i hope up guys can help with your motivation.
