Well, sort of.

I'm new HERE anyway.

I work for The Walt Disney Company in the DVD audio division @ Buena Vista digital audio mastering. ::MickeyMo

My DW used to work on Main Street @ Disneyland when she was in college in the late 80's / early 90's, I proposed to her (between Japan & Morocco) during Illuminations @ World Showcase in '98, we were married at the Disneyland Hotel in 2000 and I've been to Disneyland so many times in the last 10 years I have NO IDEA how many times! (we were Premium Annual Passholders for 8 years before I became a Cast Member).

As you may have guessed, we love all things Disney.

We are headed to WDW late August for our 2nd trip TOGETHER (I went once, by myself for my Dad's 70th 3 years ago, my parents retired in Florida) - It will be DW's 2nd trip, & my 3rd - to WDW.

This will be our 1st time staying @ a WDW Resort!

I guess you'll be seeing my posts crop up here and there in the coming weeks :3dglasses

So, um, anyway . . . . :wave2:

Hello, and welcome to the DIS :wave2:

I Look forward to any of your past experiences anywhere in the WORLD!!!!

:disrocks:

Welcome. This is a great board and you can learn and teach us a thing or to. Which WDW resort will you be staying in?

Which parks do you plan to spend most of the time?

Where will you be making your dining reservation?

Inquiring minds would like to know! :goodvibes

thanks for joining and welcome, you will probably have a lot to teach us here with all your experience!

Thanks Everyone

I don't know if I can share much about WDW - but I know a ton about DisneyLAND and the Disney company in general.

This trip we will be staying @ POR - our 1st time staying in a Resort Hotel @ WDW.

We're strying to spread our time across all the parks as much as possible (in 5 days). Since I've been twice before (and the DW once) we're trying to focus on new or FAVORITE things this trip.

We've booked the Segway Tour of World Showcase, we plan on Biking @ Fort Wilderness one morning then renting a boat for a bit and do some resort exploring.

We have priority seating (I guess it's called Advanced Reservations now) at: O'hana, Liberty Tree Tavern, Prime Time Cafe, Boma & Le Cellier and will probably also make plans for Rose & Crown and the California Grille @ the Contemporary. . . .

We've still got a couple of months of planning to do before we go . . . . :earboy2:

That's cool, I was wondering how long we'll be able to keep up our total immersion Disney obsession. It looks like indefinitely!

WELCOME TO THE DIS

YOU WILL FIND THAT EVERYONE IS VERY HELPFUL WITH ANYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED AN ANSWER FOR

Welcome to the Dis

We will be staying @ POR -

We'll spend a day each at all 4 parks plus a day of Biking / Boating etc. at Fort Wilderness - and some overlap since MGM will probably only be a partial day.

We've booked the Segway Tour of World Showcase for one morning, we have priority seating at: O'hana, Liberty Tree Tavern, Prime Time Cafe, Boma & Le Cellier and will also try to fit in Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi Dine-In, Outer Rim Bar, Big River Grille, Rose & Crown and Whispering Canyon.
