I am so mad at them..
We went today to buy husbands and sons Tickets ( I have to get my AP at WDW) I told the guy 1 adult 5 day with park hopper and 1 child 5 day with park hopper..
I drove 30 min to get there and went there just for them.
Drove 30 min back home. Got the receipt to make a copy of them for me to keep for " in case something happens" and I noticed that the childs ticket is a 4 day park hopper!
I called and waited to talk to them Forever... then the Asst. Mang. said he really had know idea what to do.. He said it was an honest mistake and he would "try" to find out..
WTH!!!!!
He said his Manger will be there TOMORROW and I could probably get something done then... I said No you need to find out what to do..

I Will NOT pay for 1 day ticket. That is too much money to waste when I told him what I wanted in the first place..

the asst mngr is "supposed" to call me back. But he says he does not know what to do.
Should I call someone else now while time is ticking????
I do not plan to drive another hour for thier mistake.. What should I do?

Sorry for rambling , I am just soooooo mad..

He called back..
He says I can trade it in and get the 5 day with hopper at WDW and just pay the difference..

I called DW and they said this is correct.
Boy I thought I was getting stuff done early so I would not have to deal with it then.

It will not ruin my trip though.
Just wanted to let ya know how things went

{{{Hugs}}}, elmonshea. I'm sorry you had to deal with all of that frustration.

Any Walt Disney World Guest Services window can upgrade your ticket for you. It is an inconvenience, but it can be done.

Have a magical vacation!

Thanks for the tip- I will make sure that I look at my tickets before leaving the store. :rolleyes1

That being said, I am sure it was an honest mistake- since the Disney Stores are no longer owned by Disney, the employees received no training on anything having to do with the tickets. I am sure the asm was not maliciously trying to rip you off from 1 day of your vacation. Once the tickets are activated through the system, they probably had to contact WDW to have the activation stopped, which is probably what took so long. I know it was an inconvenience to you, but I am sure the person feels bad about it happening.

Have a good vacation.

If the tickets are not "Magic Your Way" you cannot add days, you can trade them up to 5 day tickets but you must purchase hopping and non-expiration (and the plus pack if the old ticket was a Hopper Plus).

If the tickets are MYW it will cost you about nine dollars at Guest Relations either inside or outside the turnstiles to add the fifth day.

I believe that MYW tickets have the letters MYW on the back somewhere.

Unfortunately you have to go back to the store if you need to resolve something with the store. You should have inspected "the merchandise" before leaving.

In the words of BarbaraAnn (A wise Diser), please read everything !!!

I agree I should have looked at Everything before we walked out.
I usually do this since I am a organized freak. I have to make sure everything is always perfect.
Dh paid for them and I had both kids running around wanting everything in sight since we were there.
Dh asked the young Cm if EVERYTHING was correct and if we needed anything else.
He said everyhting was correct and we were ready!
I say to blame us and the boy BUT now I am stuck with dealing with it.
Next time I will just wait till I get to WDW and do it all there. NO stress involved.
