and it's almost here :cool1: :thumbsup2 Yes it is me WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) So will there be a movie review on the podcast?? Pete and I go way back, so I am sure he will be kind and I will get a good review. I would like Julie to do the review please, Corey can help, plus they know Eve too, they used to collect knick knacks together. ;)

Hope you all enjoy the movie as much as we did making it!

I look forward to it! Both the movie and the review.
(Probably the closest you'll ever get Julie to anything scientific, though...;) )

We are seeing it at our local Drive In Movie Theater here in WI along with Indiana Jones, cant wait!!!:thumbsup2

I'm taking my nieces and nephew Saturday! I can't wait!
Here is a "pre" review...made even more excited to see it.
It says it is "the most unique and unexpected film in Pixar's roster."

If we don't go and see it Thursday at midnight, we'll definately catch it over the weekend.
I have a really good feeling about this movie :goodvibes

I think this movie will be way more kid friendly than Ratatouille was (which is my favorite Pixar film ever). There is very little dialogue and lots of great slapstick comedy according the the Art Of Wall-E book i have. The earth scenes are going to be incredible, a real animators delight.

And the adults need to pick up on the hidden messages in the movie.

Be sure to check out the Buy N Large website, it's hilarious.

Don't want to wait - but I gotta work all weekend..hopefully Monday. I might even feel generous enough to invite the nephews.

I also wonder how this film will play to a global audience. I mean, Chaplin and Buster Keaton were two of the most popular comedians ever internationally because you didn't have to speak English to "get" their films, they appealed across many different nations based on physical humor and emotion. I think the same will be true for Wall E. My children love old cartoons without tons of dialogue because it appeals visually, and these cartoons hold up to the test of time due in large part to their basis in emotion and humor that is timeless.

Here is to a great opening weekend for Wall E. I hope this makes it 9 for 9 for Pixar. We will be there Friday as we have seen everything since Nemo on opening day. Kind of a tradition. We also own every single Pixar film, we can't get enough. Guess we're fans. I often compare Pixar to what Disney Animation Studios were back when Walt first premiered what we term the "Classics" now. The stories, characters, the innovation. They just are GREAT storytellers.

Break a Leg, I mean rotor, Wall E!

We haven't been this excited to see a movie at our house in a long time. My DS7 is Wall-e nutz. We looked all over the parks last week for toys and the only ones were at a small store in the back of Hollywood Studios. We got lucky to meet the illustrator of one of the books and he signed it for us.

Me, cocowum and DD will be there Friday! Can't wait.:thumbsup2

We are looking forward to this one too!!! :thumbsup2

We always go to WDW for July 4th ..... it's become a family tradition .... and the past few years, Disney has had a new film release right before our trip ..... so, our pre-trip tradition is to the see the latest Disney film right before our trip & look for the character(s) in the parks! :cutie:

Since DD14 won't be here until Sunday night, it might be early next week before we get to see the move ..... but I'm way excited about it! :hyper:

we've been looking forward to this film for months. I can not wait! I found a local drive in playing it Friday night. that might be cool to go and see it at.

we already snagged some Wall-e toys (of course the remote control robot) at the local toys-r-us :>
