I am sad; I just cancelled my DD flight

We were going to DW for her fall break and my sons Fencing tournament but she actually has work to do during the break from college so she needs to stay behind and do it. On the up side I don't need to get a dogsitter but we didn't get a family vacation this year and I thought this would be a nice short sweet trip. Oh well time marches on and they grow up. At least she is responsible, I am sure at her age I would have just skipped class and handed things in late. I am glad she isn't like me and she is more like her Dad. Well I just need to whine alittle, I feel better now. Not really but it doesn't matter. Thanks for listening.

Yes we will be going back again but this was the first time we were going during the Halloween season and she and her father LOVE Halloween. She still gets dresse up and so does he. Ithink when she graduates we might plan to take her with a friend to the Halloween things. I often wonder if anyone in this house will ever really grow up. I hope not. Thanks again for listening, my huusband thinks this is not such a big deal but wait till we are there and he doesn't have anyone to run on the TOT with him 4 times in a row trying to get the middle seat. My son doesn't laugh at his corny jokes the way she does either.

Awwww. Not fair, huh? I'm like you! At her age I would have skipped class! Going to WDW at Halloween would be a great graduation present! Even though it's a bit disappointing, I'm sure you're proud of the decision she made.

Yes I am proud but remember I am the Mother Theresa of the irresposible. It's a miracle that she is the type of child that she is with a parent like me. Her father is reponsible sometimes, someone has to be. Here is the funny thing my son would rather be going to the halloween festivities at Universal. I got the tickets to the MNSSHP and he is only glad that he can ride space mountain a few times with out being in a long line. He is upstairs right now though playing Kingdom Hearts so maybe by the time we leave for DW he will be psyched for a Disney Day or 3.

I was scheduled to leave Thursday October 3rd. 3 nights at the Dolphin with my fellow Disney Chicks.

Disney Chick Karen developed breast cancer and was operated on September 20th. I actually saw her today. She stopped into work to say Hi. Lump was contained and not in the Lymph nodes, they have a new chemo routine that has just come out and will be starting on her. 4 months instead of 6.

So, we may do our Disney Chick thing in the Spring. We are disappointed but more sad than anything.

Must not be the month for Denise's. Sorry to say but I will be going with the family on November 29th for 8 nights, I think you should try and plan another right now!

I am sorry about your friend. I had a friend that was diagnose 5 years ago and went thru the Chemo and radiation. Is is doing very well. I hope that we all get to go to our happy place real soon with those we have the most fun with, friends and family.
