I am riding solo now a Complete TR, New Photos :)

Is there anymore coming, or was the great morning picture it?

Great pictures! So glad you had such a fun trip!
I would love to know where you sat for Aladdin?

This bakery is amazing. I didn't have one of these this time, but loved admiring them. :lmao:

Love this Mickey Bread from DCA!

That does it, I need some decent bread to make a sandwich on.

Hi Lori! I've enjoyed reading about your solo adventure! I've been thinking that would be a really nice way to get away and do whatever you want. My DH is 31 yrs AF/Air Guard and my youngest son is a teacher in the San Antonio area, so I feel like we have a little bit in common. :goodvibes He would have to be TDY before it would be okay with him for me to go alone - he loves Disney too! Thanks for sharing all your great pics! :cool1:

We loved the DLH when we stayed there, too! I'm surprised to see they gutted the whole pool area! We thought it was nice, just a little crowded.

Here's DGD at 11 mos. surveying the pool below:

Here's her view:

We actually ended up taking the little ones to the small pool on the other side - it was almost empty back there at that time.

We're trying to plan a trip out west for next June (driving from Indiana) so I've decided to read some trip reports. Your's was the 1st! :) Beautiful pictures also!!!! We've been to WDW 10 times and I hardly have to plan those trips. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around DL. :rotfl2: Especially the resort/hotel decision. I was thinking I was wanting to stay at either of the DL hotels but then I'm reading about how close some of the Good Neighbor Hotels are. My head is rolling. How long a walk in minutes was it from the DLH to the gates of either of the parks? We have never stayed off site when traveling to WDW. I cannot wait to experience DL for the first time next year (hoping mid June). Its going to be a great experience especially when all of the decisions have been made! :)

I am impressed with your view of WOC. Do you recommend the whole dinner / preferred seating arrangement? I've heard so many conflicting reports, I'm not sure what we should do. Your view seemed great, though. (Dinner looked good too!) Any advice?

DL is amazing and you will love it! The walk for me was less than 10 minutes and the walk through DT Disney is really nice. If you can stay on site that is the perfect DL vacation as you never leave the magic.

Yes it is soooo worth it. I was at the very front with no one in front. The meal was a great deal IMO.
