I am mad! Got 1/2 off room rate at Beach Club..

Today I will pout.
Last year, we had several family members join our trip. Such a good time was had that we decided to do it again.

I generally go in October - love the weather and the Food and Wine Festival. Other family members say no - we want to go in November. Even though October works better for me, I agree and book 4 rooms at the Beach Club - got 50% off the rack rate - paying like $167 a night or something.

Got an email today - sorry we are not going to go with you - we now want to go in March. ARGGGGGGGH

After 35 trips in the last 9 years - I do not know the answer to this question - can I change names on the reservation?

I am sure someone I know - either in real life or on DIS would love to spend 4 nights at the Beach Club for half price.

If you don't mind my saying so. Four days at the Beach Club for less than $175 a night is going to be making you lots of friends. I can't imagine anyone turning you down. If for some reason you don't find any takers from your "live" friends, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to take a room off your hands.

I think that OP can cancel, but is just offering fellow Dissers an amazing opportunity to take a reservation of her hands at a terrific price. Very generous when it would be waaaay easier to just pick up the phone and cancel. (What are the dates in Nov?)

reason for the discount? - airline employee rate. Got the same deal in October at the Boardwalk. For years the AP rate was better, but now the airline rate is 50% off.

Each airline employee can reserve 2 rooms - so I reserved 4 which is what I needed. So now my cousin is backing out - of course I could cancel, but it is such a good deal, I would hope someone here might be able to use it.

Should fly into Orlando at noon on 11/1

You can not sell this reservation to someone else. If you do not go, you lose the rate and the reservation. You can still go and take someone else with you.

Hi! Quick question. My dad works for Net Jets. Are the discounts only good for regular commercial airline employees? I'm just curious. Then chances of us going with him or him going to Disney are very slim. Thanks!

Does this airline discount work for retired Untied people ... my dad is going in May with us and staying at CBR but if he could get a room for him and mom at the BW that would make his day ... Is it for just BW or any deluxe???
Do you book through Disney ??? Everytime I have ever asked for an airline discount for them Disney says they do not offer any ...
