I am having trouble with my room

I am allowed to move items and rotate items, but the icon to remove the items is no longer there. I want to change some things around for the new rooms, but I can't find how to remove an item. I am sure this is an easy fix for you veterans. Am I missing something here?

Since the most recent update sometimes the takeaway button is very far to the right(it is a bug as far as I can tell. usually if you sign back in it will be correct. If not move the item as far to the left as you can and you shold then see the button to remove the item.
