I am happy and sad

I just want to share with you all, I am a foster mom for dogs. Back in January I got a dog from a Puppy mill, she is 7 years old and had been a breeder her whole life. Well, I just got off the phone and learned that she has been adopted and will be moving to Ma. Her new mommy sounded lovely, but it will be hard to give this baby up!

It just makes room for the next foster!

Dyan, it must be so hard to give a baby up. Glad that this one has a loving home to be a forever pup. I can't imagine how hard it will be for you, they sure do wrap around our hearts, but

Aww..it's good that the dog is going to a good home. I know that must help you. Me, when I foster, I can't give them back. That's why I don't foster anymore!

That's so great of you to be a foster mommy! I'm sorry--I know how it must hurt to lose one, but at least you have made her life such a positive place that she will make the an even greater puppy for the next person!

Good for you. I admire your ability to foster. I know for a fact that I could not let them go and then we would have more animals than we already do (3 dogs and 2 cats)....did I mention DW's favorite place in the world is AK?

Our hearts go out to you but we also celebrate with you that there was a good home for it to go to.
