I am just about to the point where I probably won't be booking directly with Disney much more. I just dont understand why Disney would not care about loosing a direct booking to a 3rd party because the 3rd party offers the same exact thing cheaper.

January 18th-23rd, 2026- CSR

We have used UT many times and never had any problems at all. Even if it's $100 savings, better in your pocket then theirs!

Your examples are providing 6.27% and 6.19% discount. That’s not terrible but I can usually purchase Disney Gift Cards for at least 10% off that I could use to pay for the stay but I realize not everyone can so this does provide some savings for others.

Two questions.

At these rates are you able to cancel penalty free up to so many days from the trip like Disney?

Do you have to pay the whole amount up front or can you just pay a small deposit and pay the rest down the road like with Disney?

Yeah decent savings but not enough for me to use UT. I need to have control of my own booking I change my dates and room categories/resorts too frequently and I hate having to go thru a travel agent when I do. I use to use a agent years ago who many on this board may recall that had reaallly great discounts but alas they are no more....And I agree with the PP i always use discounted gift cards for that little extra discount.
