I am going to volunteer for GAD

I am heading out right now to vounteer at 1:00 this afternoon.

Here's the kicker... my wife, son, and daughter were ALL sick over the last few days. And Yesterday ALL of them were ummmm... how do you say it politely... hurling. (Sorry for the graphic)

Now they are all pretty much over it, seemed like a 24 hour thing, but now my stomach is feeling queesy.

Last thing I want is to get sick myself, while volunteering.

Aw at least you will feel better for having helped. We are volunteering for Theatre Calgary..............which is highly appropriate since dd13 is such a drama queen lol!

I did... Everything went great.

Had a good time meeting other fellow dis'ers, and knowing we were helping out for a good cause.

It's too bad it takes a free Disney day (or fastpass really) to get me off my butt to help, when there are so many people out there that need it.

You do get that warm feeling at the end though, that your efforts were appreciated, and that was the real payoff.
