I was talking to my absolute best friend tonight. He has been my buddy since 1978, So tonight we were talking about health issues. And not once, but TWICE, he referred to me as "thick" -- not fat. And he used the word "thick" several times in our conversation.
Yeah, I know he was being PC or polite, but as long as he isn't making fun of my "fatness", and is just using the correct word, I am TOTALLY OK with him using the word "FAT". And I realize that "thick" is the new PC word to replace fat.
Have we become SO politically correct, that best friends for 28 years have to worry about how your best friend will take it, if you use a politically incorrect term?
Would you want to be referred to as "thick"?.... not me.
