I am so excited i have just booked for Dh, our 1 year old DD and Myself for a week in New York on the 27th March we are staying at the Woldorf Astoria.

I would appreciate tips of must sees, best places to eat and ofcoarse SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait!!!!!!!!

I had my prom at the Waldorf...It's so pretty-although I've never seen a room! LOL
Anyways:
You MUST go to:
Times Square-especially the Toys R Us
Empire State Building

For shopping: 5th Avenue, definatly!
There are a LOT of good museums around Central Park. The Met, Natural History, etc...

Food:
I ussually just hit a Sbarros or McDonalds...haha
But if you've never been to a Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood-they're fun. There's a place downtown called the Rodeo Bar that has really great food, and on the other side of the restaurant is a bar where they have live jazz and country-ish music every night. It's pretty small, but its fun.

I can suggest a LOT more, these are just some of my favorites-PM me if you want more and/or detailed info as far as addresses and whatnot.

Just keep in mind that NYC is now SMOKE-FREE indoors!!! YAY! haha, so no matter where you go for food/recreation, you don't have to worry about the DD being overcome by smoke, which is nice.

We just discovered Johns Pizzeria!!! 44th between 5th and 6th(right next door to the Producers theatre). Excellant Pizza, beautiful architecture(its an old church) and very reasonable.
