Stephanie Plum..........i ordered One for the Money on my Kindle a week ago and am now just about done with Two for the Dough..........i must admit i am hooked...........any Janet Evanovich fans out there?????????

Yes! I love Stephanie Plum. I started reading a few years ago. The books are so funny.

I just finished 17 and 18 is coming out in November!

Love the series. The first is actually one of the worse IMO, not as funny, but still enjoyable. One of the few series I know I will actually be laughing out loud while reading.

I absolutely LOVE Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum novels. I have read through the eighth book and am hoping to get to the others soon. They are such a fun read especially since she is from NJ like I am. ;)

There is a movie scheduled for release in the early winter. It was supposed to be out this summer, but they decided to bump it back to concentrate more on advertising. I have yet to see anything on TV for it though.

thought it was kinda funny...........i looked at the authors photo on a dust jacket in Borders the other day and thought............she's kinda hot. then i come to find THE WOMANS ALMOST 70 for gosh sake.........that photo was was taken before electricity was invented..........why do they do that?????????????

I love the Stephanie Plum books too - they can't be read in public though. :lmao: My husband doesn't understand why I'm laughing so hard when I'm reading them, and I don't seem to be able to explain in a way that's nearly as entertaining. :rotfl2:

I'm an addict here, too, just finished 16. I have to get them as conventional books since DH is as addicted to the series as I am but he refuses to use the e-reader! I think he believes he is being disloyal to Gutenburg, or something....

A co-worker of mine told me a story this week of her sister-in-law who went to a wake and tripped, nearly falling in the casket. I thought of Grandma Mazur right away! :rotfl:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I love Grandma Mazur!!

I consumed all the Stephanie Plum books in about 2 months this spring. They are so much fun! And I  Ranger.

Huge fan. I love Stephanie Plum and all her cohorts in Trenton. They are laugh out loud funny, but I have to admit, around about 12 I got a little tired of the Range/Morelli thing, by 14 I kind of didn't care anymore. 15 was the last one I read. Just marry Morelli already Stephanie! My favorite Plum is the one where they go to Vegas, I think it's #9, I don't remember ever laughing so hard reading a book.

As for the movie...doubt I'll see it. Katherine Heigel is NOT Stephanie Plum and I have no desire to watch her try.

Love her books. I can't read them outside my house though.

I kept laughing while reading one of the them at the eye doctors office and everyone kept staring at me. :rotfl:

I like Daniel Sunjata and John Leguizamo. Hate Katherine Heigl. Neutral about the rest. I'll probably see it anyway!

Just stumbled over this thread as I'm half way through Plum Spooky which is one of the in-between books with Diesel. I love Stephanie Plum - totally drives my DH nuts though with the laughing ... he always says "Oh you aren't reading those again!"

Wow are you really from NJ? I never knew, you don't have a NJ accent! :rotfl:

I subject Robert to paragraphs - they are so funny!

Forget Morelli ... but Ranger - he's totally hot ...

OMG! I'm another Janet Evanovich addict! DH just looks at me and shakes head when I am laughing hysterically over the tales of Stephanie.

The flaming dog poo (I think it was book 5) was one of the best!

I loved the book where Stephanie's car was blown up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As if it was only once and in one book! :scared1::eek:
