To some of you I may seem like a complete weirdo. Some of you will know this feeling exactly.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhh only 73 more days. Only 73 more days!!!!!!!!!!

I just had to get that out!!!!!

I'm so excited I can't stand myself LOL

I've loved Disney since the 1st time I visited in 1984. I've been several times over the years and once with my husband in 2002?? before the kids came. This will be our 1st trip to Disney World as a family. My kids are 3 and 5. I've been dreaming of getting to take my kids to DW since I was a teenager, how crazy is that?? Did you hear me, I've been waiting for this for over 15 yrs LOL!!! I think I will cry walking into the gates of the Magic Kingdom and I will cry when I walk out.

That is all

I am REALLY sure that you are not the only one here thinking this. In fact I am positive that none of us would be here if we didn't feel the same. Congrats on the trip and I hope your family has a WONDERFULL time!!!!!

Congrats!! I bet you'll have a great trip with your family!!! And I don't think that your weird at all! Last year, I had those feelings, too!! It was my biggest wish to go to WDW again and I had to wait more than 10 years!
Passing the WDWsign will be so overwhelming - I promise! The best feeling ever!

You are not alone at all! I'm 24 and have been planning for years on one day getting married in WDW and taking my family there when both of these things happen.

Trust me...you're not alone! I know EXACTLY how you're feeling. 61 more days for us...and it's driving me crazy to wait! Every day, I'm telling someone something like this, "2 months from right now, I will be packing for our trip, or 9 weeks from this minute, we'll be eating at The Coral Reef." Disney can be such a passion for some of us, but for those who don't share the passion, we're just known as Disney Freaks.

69 days for me :cheer2: We call ourselves Disney Freaks! :rolleyes1 We are lucky and belong to DVC so we get to go often :yay: I know that you and your family will have a great time! Your kids are such great ages to go....everything will be so magic! :thumbsup2 I hope you have those ADR's and especially a character meal all planned. popcorn:: We found that this was a much easier way for our kids to meet the characters when they were younger...no lines and Mom & Dad were right there! :dance3:

I hope you have a fantastic time!!

Goodness you are definitely not alone. I have been going to Disney since I was kid in the 80's (first year I went was the first year that Epcot Center opened up) and have been going strong ever since. The first time my DH and I went alone was back in 2000, when we were married for a year. Then we went to Disney with our girls for the first time in 2005 (they were 4 and 2)....lets just say that this coming September will be their 6th time. It is so funny, we were just there in March and I am so excited about being back again in September, it is like we haven't been there in 10+ years. My DH is the same way (God love him), he will never in a million years admit how much he loves Disney when we are in public, but in actuality, he is as excited about going as the girls and I are :goodvibes. Have an awesome first family trip.

Im Disney crazy now thanks to my friend who is a DVC member=) Im going 2 times next year!! I cant wait!! My trip is in 17 days!! Im siked!!:cool1::thumbsup2:rotfl2::rotfl::banana::dance3:

As much as I have LOVED Disney over the years, it is a truly amazing feeling to share it with your children. We pushed my daughter down Main Street in her stroller and when she first saw Cinderella's castle, her jaw dropped and after a few seconds of shock she pointed to the castle said, "Mommy, look!" I took a picture and started to cry. There's nothing like Disney!! Have a wonderful time!

My coworkers get sick and tired of hearing me talk about my trips all the time!
:banana::banana:

I just can not wait till September and then I can officially say " I go too Disney next month"!!!!!!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay:

Have fun and enjoy the excitment...Planning my trip is half the fun!!! The DIS boards make it fun...:thumbsup2

You aren't alone!! I tear up every trip when I first walk down Main Street. Your kids are at a great age!! You will have an amazing time!! I can't wait until one month from today!! woohooo!!

You are not alone, I visited as a child and adult without kids and started bringing my kids when the oldest was 4. Now 15 years later my kids, 20 and 17, are total Disney freaks too. They don't want to go anywhere else. We went for a week in January and are headed back (just my 20 yr old son and I) in 22 days. Can't wait and it's not like my first time. I've lost track of how many times we've been.

...my daughter and i have been known to walk down the center of MK main street singing "walkin' right down the middle of main street usa....." :rolleyes1 she does this with me now at 12 and has years in the past hope we do this still at 22!!!;)

Tomorrow will be our 90 day mark for our next trip.:cool1: Due to family issues, we are not telling anyone we are going. I love to talk about my Disney plans and it is driving me crazy that I can't say anything. :headache:

I was at the Dr's office with my father the other day. When we went in to see the Dr. He was wearing scrubs with a t-shirt underneath. I caught a glimpse of the words "Disney Pixar" and it brought a smile to my face. We went on to see another Dr. and while in the waiting room, I was chatting with a woman with a Mickey t-shirt on. When she left. I picked up an old magazine and opened it up. To my delight, the ad was for Disney's "what are you celebrating?" I could hardly contain myself! I was thinking to myself "Are you that insane that a picture of a mouse makes you giddy?":worship:
When I got home and told my husband of my three "visions" and how excited I was, his exact words were "You are insane!" :rolleyes1

So, if all this makes us weirdos, then I guess we are weirdos!:thumbsup2

ArmandXG, I can so see me telling my husband of the 3 visions and him telling me the same thing LOL!!! But I don't care!!! I do feel a little bad though, because he says all we ever talk about is this Disney trip. Bless his heart, we have 36 days left and I can only assume our Disney conversations will get more frequent the closer we get to departure day!

:) We are going the first week of Dec. this year with my MIL, yep she will have her own studio. Over dinner at Pizza Hut tonight we finalized the date with my parents for Halloween 2011. DH thinks it is funny, but he is constantly looking over my shoulder reading the DIS...his new nickname is "Resort Snob". I pulled out my carry-on, and packed it for the Owner's Locker today. It weighs 25 pounds and more to add. :cloud9:

If you're a weirdo, then so am I! I can't wait to leave on Thanksgiving day! Every time I get to MK, and walk out from under the train station, I just have to stop and take it all in... and cry... and when we drive through the 'gateway' I cry... and when I see the Tree of Life I cry... Spaceship Earth... well, you get the picture! It is my most favorite place in the world, and I love sharing it with my kids and hubby!

I've got 26 days to go!!!! :cool1:  :woohoo: :cheer2: I'll admit, I've been logging on here the past couple of days just to see my count down go down!

My life at home has been complicated and stressful here lately and I'm just soooo looking forward to getting away from it all, with my best friend(hubby) and my boys. I probably will cry when I leave cause I don't want to go back to my home and the B.S. LOL!!! It's just other family member issues.

Glad to hear it's not just me who is so crazy about Disney World that they cry when they get there! I'll report back when I come home and let everyone know if I really did cry LOL!!! For the record, I've never cried before but as you know from my 1st post, this is the 1st time we're taking the boys. I've just gotten so emotional since having children, they are my world, everything they do is amazing to me, and making them happy brings me much happiness! Now watch, with my luck they will complain that they want to go to Universal LOL!!

And I just thought of something else that made me tear up last night. There are many rides that neither my husband or I, have ever ridden!!! So we will be riding them for the 1st time all of us as a family!!!! I 1st thought of Dumbo but then I kept realizing there were many more I've never experienced like the Carpets of Aladdin, Astro Orbiters, Mickey's Philharmagic, and Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. There may even be more. To me this is adding a whole new reason to be excited!!!

When I think of the Soarin' ride, thats what makes me cry. When I see the boarding spiel, when the music starts. There are more reasons than just the ride, but WDW brings out my emotions like nothing else.
