I admit, I have an addiction to Vera Bradley! Do you? (Open w/caution if u don't lol)

I wish I would get a coupon in the mail. I have bought many items in the last year online as the nearest VB store is 150 miles away. We have a couple of local merchants that sell Vera but the last time I went in one of the stores I had to tell the clerks which patterns were the new ones along with the names.

I have 3 bags now. I took a Lizzy in Slate Blooms on vacation this year and was amazed at much I could fit into that little bag! Perfect for Disneyland.

What I find so amusing about Vera Bradley is that it appeals to all ages. I see grandmas, soccer moms, college kids, High Schoolers, and tweens toting Vera around all the time.

I have a huge, ever growing collection of Vera Bradley. I can't seem to stop collecting. I don't need all that I have but I use all the patterns and love seeing them even if not using at the moment.

What I need is a system of storing my huge collection. Any suggestions?

You and me both. They look so much like the bedspreads we had in the 1970s.

But I did make some good $$$ reselling some VB gifts on eBay, so thanks for that, Vera fans!

Amazing that this thread came back after over a year! I have seriously expanded my collection and as the PP noted& I sold some on Ebay too.

One lesson I did learn though was do not use your Vera Bradley duffel as checked luggage. Seems like common sense right? Well I had brought my duffel on our honeymoon as my carry on&but for some reason decided when we were leaving that it would be best to just check it since I didnt need anything in it. We were flying Southwest so it was free. We got home to Philadelphia from Orlando&. And it was 100% soaked! You could literally drain the water out by squeezing it. Silly me forgot that sunny Orlando did not = sunny Philadelphia!

But either way the best part about Vera Bradley products  they are durable and last forever! I washed that in the washer and it came out brand new.

Looking forward to hearing more stories about everyones Vera!

1. YES!!
2. This is SO hard, I have so many favorites, but I think I would have to say the Hipster...it's very practical for me, as a college student! I also love the Vera tote and the Turn Lock Wallet!
3. My favorite patterns (in order)...Floral Nightingale, Midnight Blues, Happy Snails, and I'm really loving the Heather pattern for the Fall 2013 line!!
4. My favorite bags for Disney are my Hipster for in-park and my medium duffle for clothes. I don't pack too much when I go to Disney (plus, I always know I'm going to get a shirt or two down there) and we usually go on weekend trips, so the medium duffle is perfect for me.

On a side note, they're FINALLY opening a Vera Bradley store near me! I'm super super excited! It's at the Mall of Georgia. They do have one in Atlanta, however it's downtown/in a congested area and, frankly, I don't do downtown Atlanta. So I've never been to an actual Vera store...I'm really psyched about this one opening in May!

I am a vera addict too..
I have four big ones...various styles and colors..I have one that is butt ugly and I have no clue why I got it...its mostly browns and yellows...and I have a mini hipster, but it is to small for what I want it for..it also has a phone holder with it..
I just ordered two hipsters for our upcoming trip to Disney...I will figure out which one I take with me for walking the parks...because I use my bigger one for the plane ride...big enough for my wallet, meds, and a snack..

I'm a Vera fan, too, and have been for several years now. I actually just sold some of my Hipsters and a Saddle Up on e-bay, but I still have several accessories. I love the cross-body bags, but they just aren't big enough for me. I also have a Weekender in Very Berry Paisley that's my favorite. I think my favorite pattern would have to be Very Berry Paisley as well. As far as a favorite park bag, we usually just use a backpack, but I'm actually looking at getting a Vera Campus backpack to use during our next trip.

Hi all, I have a story to share,

I ordered a diaper bag as a gift- the package was a little delayed, I wondered why. Here- it must have got caught in the rain! All the paper work was water damaged. The bag was wrinkled (it'll be fine after a wash). I read some not so nice stories online abt Vera Bradley customer service.

I didn't have high expectations- When I called, no questions asked, they overnighted a new diaper bag! Plus, I got to keep the other!

More reason to love Vera Bradley!! Great customer service!

Can't wait to see the new Disney/vera preview in Epcot

OMG, Disney Vera Bradley! I have several pieces but I only buy when 50-60% off. I may not be able to wait til this goes on sale. When is this coming out? Thanks to this board, I always know when a good VB sale is.

They haven't set a date, but they're to be released Fall 2013. Hopefully that's sometime over the summer, as Vera Bradley released their Spring 2013 collection in January!

I, too, have a serious addiction. In our house there are well over 50 Vera products!!
My favorite were the Tall zip totes, duffel, and my bowler purse, oh, and my backpack purse!
I love 90% of the Patterns!

The trick to not going into debt is to save all year long and plan an overnight trip to Fort Wayne, IN, in spring to their main outlet sale!! It is crazy fun!! The first year, we waited over 2 hours to get in, and over 2 hours to check out!!! The deals are awesome!!!! It's my annual girls getaway!

Cannot wait for the Disney bags to come out!!! I'll have to plan another vacation just so I can buy one!!! Lol

My college freshman DD went to her local VB store to buy my Christmas gift (I had an apron in Provencal on my list). While she was there the saleswoman encouraged her to enter their raffle. Wouldn't you know it, that little tart won the raffle and she gets a free Vera bag of her choice every month for 2013. she let me choose a bag for March and I'm awaiting a Miller bag in Plum Crazy.

For a carry-on I prefer the Miller. For car travel I prefer the Weekender or the Grand Traveler. Love their smaller backpacks and the hipster. I also like the Side by Side.
