I actually just squealed! Baby girl's 1st trip!~Sept '12 AoA~Day 6 and single digits

Yep... ToT 10 miler is on your day 5. I agree... since the race starts WAY after DHS closes I doubt that crowds will be heavy during the day. I know I don't plan to go to DHS...or much of any park that day. There is a party in DHS that night... That could draw some crowds... but then again, I dont think it is sold out...and a majority of the party goes will likely be runners.

Congrats to Violet for walking... Jack Jack for starting prek and Dash for starting 4th grade.:goodvibes

You have so much going on right now....Violet walking, Jack going to pre-k and Dash starting 4th grade. Wow!!! My DD starts 5th grade on Tuesday and I'm going to be a wreck! This is her last year of elementary school. Where did the time go?!

You daily plans look great! I cant' wait to get back on ToT....I was pregnant with my DS on our last trip.

It looks like you are going to have a great trip!!!!

Thanks so much! The excitment is definitely setting in!! :cool1:

Thanks!! I think we'll be ok @ DHS. And if it's busy, we'll deal with it. It's a short park day.

ToT is my must-do at DHS, too. I'm so jealous that you're going so soon!!!!

I know!!! I wish I could pack you in my suitcase! ::yes::

Definitely a lot going on! We are also changing Violet from home based therapy to private therapy and Jack Jack starts back to speech next week, plus doctor's appointments. :faint: The GOOD part about all of that is I should be so busy that time is just gonna fly!!

Next year is gonna be a hard one for me - Dash is starting 5th and Jack Jack kinder. Double emotional wammy for this momma!

I definitely don't regret going to Disney while pregnant (wasn't exactly a planned thing...) but I did really miss the rides and ability to have a cocktail on date nights! So I am definitely looking forward to not having to do Disney Lite this time. :goodvibes

Congrats on Violet walking! I loved her birthday party pictures.
I feel your pain on booking the wrong the date for Ohana. I did the same thing on our last trip with one of our reservations! I'm glad you were able to get a new one.
We will be eating at Ohana for the 1st time & I'm so excited about it!
Your plans are looking great!

I went to WDW while pregnant with both my kiddos. I loved being able to just hang back while everyone else went on the thrill rides and take in all the wonderful details of the parks. It made me slow down! I can't wait to get back to all my favorite attractions though!

Day 6 - Magic Kingdom and DTD

Plans in a nutshell:

  • Crystal Palace Ressie @ 8:05am
  • Magic Kingdom all day
  • AoA for afternoon/early evening break
  • DTD for shopping
  • WPE for dinner

Details:

I warned y'all about gellybean PTRs and changes.... and there have been more changes. We have changed our Day 3 plans from DTD shopping and WPE to a dinner ressie at Via Napoli. So we are going to be spending all of day 3 at Epcot with an afternoon break sometime in the middle of the day. We originally planned T-Rex for dinner this evening but I decided we'll save T-Rex for a daytrip to DTD when we are in Florida visiting MIL.

Anyway, since we didn't eat WPE Thursday night, we swapped it in the place of T-Rex and added Via Napoli instead. Voila!

Now back to day 6 plans!

We have an 8:05am Crystal Palace reservation and confession time... I have never eaten at Crystal Palace, much less done a before park opens breakfast. I'm excited. I can't wait to get pictures of my 3 kiddos and our family of 5 on a relatively empty Main Street. Thankfully, we have two built in photographers with us! We've never been a Photo Pass family... so it will be nice to have family with us to take group pics without having to ask a Photo Pass Photogs to take pics with our camera too.

We will head most likely towards Tomorrowland and work our way back towards Fantasyland, picking up the things we didn't cover the first MK day. The park closes at 7pm for MNSSHP and I feel like we'll be done for the day well before 7pm. Lunch will be whatever counter service place we end up at. Some of our faves are CHH, Pecos Bills, and I'm dying to try a Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow.

We'll rest up, and possibly swim back at the hotel and then head over to DTD via bus around 6pm. Other than the yummy food, WPE has the added bonus of not having to have a reservation. So we have some flexibilty. Our day will have started out pretty early so we'll play it by ear as to how late we stay at DTD that night.

DISCLAIMER: As always, when traveling with small children any and all plans could completely fly out the window. And that’s ok! :thumbsup2

Looks like a great day. So this is 9/30? We are doing MNSSHP that day. We plan to spend the day in AK and then hop over to Mk around 4 pm... If I see you, I will wave! :wave2:

I haven't been to the WPE at DTD but I've eaten twice now at the one in the Denver airport, and omg YUM. So jealous.

Also I can't believe you haven't done a pre-opening ADR...or CP!!! You will love walking down Main Street almost alone....it is so magical!

Sounds like a good plan! I hope you get some great family pics before park opening! We really liked breakfast at Crystal Palace too.

Thank you so much! We are thrilled about the walking!! It's been so fun to watch her walk around and she wears her little Wee Squeak shoes and her little face lights up when she makes them squeak!! ::yes:: It's awesome!

The 'Ohana thing was soooooo frustrating and funny and totally something I would do .... and did. :rotfl: I was very happy we were able to rebook it. We actually were able to switch from the late 9:45pm ressie to a 8:20pm ressie. Much better!!

I hope y'all enjoy 'Ohana! It's become a must do tradition for us!

I went to WDW while pregnant with both my kiddos. I loved being able to just hang back while everyone else went on the thrill rides and take in all the wonderful details of the parks. It made me slow down! I can't wait to get back to all my favorite attractions though!

I was more ok hanging back and soaking it all in at Christmas than I was when it was just Mr. I and I. We were so looking forward to riding rides together without having to baby swap and to having a few cocktails with dinner on our date nights. So it was more of an adjustment. But I was still at Disney WORLD!! And we still had a wonderful trip! :)

Totally psyched about riding ToT in two weeks!!!! :cool1:

YES! This is 9/30. Hopefully we'll run into each other at some point! We may still be in MK by 4pm. We'll have to see how tired that 8:05pm ressie makes us! Thanks for looking for us and :wave2:

I love love love WPE!! It's another must do! I wish we had them in Texas!!

I know re: CP. I can't believe it's slipped through the cracks either. We've had an early morning ressie a few times and just never made it. We were so tired by the end... but this time I am determined to make.it.happen!

Can't wait to walk down an empty Main Street!! pixiedust:

Sounds like a good plan! I hope you get some great family pics before park opening! We really liked breakfast at Crystal Palace too.

Thanks Dugette!!! How you feeling?! Hanging in there?!! 40 weeks!! YEOWCH! C'mon Princess Isabella! :cutie: You have fans waiting!!

Day 7 - Epcot, Food and Wine Festival and DTD

Plans in a nutshell:
  • Light breakfast
  • Epcot - finish what we missed
  • Food & Wine Festival!
  • Late Afternoon break
  • DTD one last time
  • Raglan Road

Details:

We will get up early if we didn't cover as much of FW as we wanted on Epcot day 1... if we are feeling tired and like we really want to just head straight to World Showcase anyway, we'll sleep in-ish. We will have a light breakfast most likely in the room or on the go and then we will hit those lovely little F&W booths as close to 11am as possible! I've never been during F&W so I am very excited! We don't have any reservations or meals planned in the park, just snacking around the world.

Depending on how crowded, how long it takes us to cover the park, we will head back for an afternoon break. We are planning on splitting up for the F&W attack. Mr. I and I with the kiddos and Edna and FGM will go off on their own. I think this will work best! So we'll meet back up at the room whenever we, separately, get done.

Ch- cha- changessssssssssss! Again. I know. But I can't help it! It's part of the fun! We have moved our date night from Raglan Road to we don't know yet. Probably still at DTD but not Raglan Road. We decided that it looked like more of a fun place, less like a date place and that the kids would enjoy it. So it will be our last meal and for all 7 of us!

Our dinner ressie is for 7:45pm. We may be shopped out, we may have a list a mile long of things we still want to purchase. So we'll see how much shopping we'll do. We will have just been there the last two nights before but I love me some DTD. So I feel like some looking around will be done... but if not, dinner then bus back to start packing up

Dance partyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

We are getting excited but trying to not get tooo excited. Things can still 'come up'. Life can still get in the way! But Lord willing, as we like to say in our family, we should be boarding a plane in 9 days to head to Disney World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a corner in our dining room taking over with Disney prep/packing stuff. I have lists and more lists made. I have informed Mr. I that I will be taking over the dining room table with suitcases as of Thursday. We are so close!!!!

Here's the forecast for our six park days:

Wednesday 9/26
Some sun, high 83, lo 61
Thursday 9/27
Abundant Sunshine, high 83, lo 63
Friday 9/28
Occasional Rain, high 82, lo 62
Saturday 9/29
Sunny, high 82, lo 62
Sunday 9/30
Sunny, high 84, lo 61
Monday 10/1
Periods of Rain, high 83, lo 63

We are looking at some rain possiblities but I'll take rain over heat anyday! And this forecast is much less rain than what it said yesterday. I'll be glad when I can start viewing more days on weather . com instead of accuweather for comparison. But overall, I'm stoked about the weather forecast!

I'll be sure to post outfit, shopping and packing pics soon!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!

Thanks Dugette!!! How you feeling?! Hanging in there?!! 40 weeks!! YEOWCH! C'mon Princess Isabella! :cutie: You have fans waiting!!
41 weeks and 2 days now!

Anyway, plans are sounding good. Definitely hit F&W at opening to help avoid the crowds. You may want to consider starting at the further back booths too (maybe take a boat across the lagoon).

I can't believe it's single digits until your trip! It came up so fast! So exciting!

NO rain is allowed next week! :)
I can't tell if our plans overlap anytime, but I think we both will be at WDW during the 1st 3 days of your trip.

Hello lady!
I remember seeing your Facebook updates on your trip and it wasn't all perfect...I hope you still find time to write about it and things are going well! :goodvibes
