I-4 or 417 toll road to Pop Century?

That route has you taking I-95 close by the space center area, then heading west on 528 (old Beeline) to 417. Not sure if that saves you time, or traffic really, that sort of seems too roundabout to me.

But as originally mentioned, you can take I-95 to Daytona and then switch over to I-4. Rather than stay on I-4 all the way to WDW, you can exit near Sanford onto Route 417 (this route swings around the western and southern edge of Orlando, some of it really in the boonies, so it avoids the heaviest traffic).

I have 1 question. When taking 417 it says to go west towards orlando on the 408 or go east towards the airport. If I wanted to go to Disney and avoid I-4 Id assume you have to go east, sense west takes you to 408 then have to switch onto i-4. How would you get to Disney after this split of going east or west?

OOPS! I just noticed I cannot type correctly at 3 a.m... the 417 takes you around the eastern edge of the Orlando area, not the western, like I said in my last post. Jeez. Sorry!

Anyhow, Schmitty, your observations are correct. If you're trying to avoid I-4 entirely by looping around the city on 417 you're NOT going to catch 408. Stay on 417. Soon afterwards you'll come to another split, this time for 528 (Beachline, MCO airport exit). STAY ON 417 again. Check out my Mapquest link above, see how 417 eventually bends around to the south of MCO and sort of parallels 528?

I get off 417 at exit 6. Go straight off the exit and you're actually ON 536 which leads right into WDW, passing DD and such. Other people exit at exit 3 which is Osceola Pkwy, to WDW.

This isn't a scale map at all but it helps me visualize the order of the exits off 417 and remember which roads are accessible from which exit.
