That route has you taking I-95 close by the space center area, then heading west on 528 (old Beeline) to 417. Not sure if that saves you time, or traffic really, that sort of seems too roundabout to me.

But as originally mentioned, you can take I-95 to Daytona and then switch over to I-4. Rather than stay on I-4 all the way to WDW, you can exit near Sanford onto Route 417 (this route swings around the western and southern edge of Orlando, some of it really in the boonies, so it avoids the heaviest traffic).
