DH just said to leave a day earlier for our Xmas trip, and to depart later in the day on Xmas!!!!!!!!!!! If I can arrange it our new dates will be 12/17-LATE 12/25!!! WOO-HOOOOOOO!!!!!!O.K. We will arrive at the Dolphin at about 1:30 in the aftenoon on a Friday, hopefully check the bags and hit the parks...wanted to do MK but there is a MVMCP sceduled that night so they will close early (blowing our early Xmas arrival strategy just a bit, unless there are still MVMCP tix left when we arrive, then we will just do that, and not use a park day) then we have7 full glorious days, and then a 1/2 day on departure date 12/25. Not quite enough to warrant the AP, 7/4 Hopper seems like the best option but that does leave us hanging for 2 days... not too sure we'd do a waterpark in Dec., plus TL is our favorite and will be under rehab. That leaves the UPH option, but whoa...a bit pricey for 4 when 2 days are 1/2 days. I know I am sounding silly since we will have 7 full days and are very lucky, but I just have a feeling that starting 12/15 and on is going to be pretty darn crowded....not as much as the following week since the legal holiday for Xmas is the 27th, all the same, I bet we will use all our days at the parks to accomodate things we'd like to see with the crowds.
BTW, since Sat is an EE day for MK, and it will be closed early on Friday, yet the crowds will be arriving, any suggestions for days to plan on hitting there? We are not EE people, but do tend to spend the eintire day there once we arrive(even when we stayed at the Contemporary..

SO, any thoughts? Or would you keep the dates of 12/18 departing at noon on the 25th? MK is our main concern as we will have that great Dolphin location for MGM and Epcot.
