Moira! He was a sweetheart and really cute. The one picture was only a few months ago so he was over 15 in that one. The other one with the blanket he was younger!

I love meandering around Epcot and taking it all in just like you and your sister have been doing this morning. I love looking at all the stalls in the Mexico pavilion. We bought a Donald Duck from one on our last trip for our granddaughter. She loves it!
I really enjoyed the Remy ride. Glad to hear you didn’t suffer from motion sickness this time around.

We do as well! Andi likes to look in the shops and take her time in WS which is u unusual because she is normally going at high speed to get somewhere

Sounds like an amazing day in EPCOT. Love the photo of the topiaries in France!

It really was, we didn’t feel stressed and took our time looking at all the beautiful topiaries! Epcot is very beautiful during F&G, I love it!

We got almost to the loading area when there was some type of malfunction. It was fun to watch all the new International CMs try to figure this out.

We shared the Taco Vampiro. This is delicious and the corn salsa is yummy. It is small for $8.75 but worth it! It is barbacoa beef in a corn tortilla with crispy grilled Monterey Jack cheese, and salsa ranchera.

Sounds pretty good.

This was the closest we got to Guardians haha

But meeting Groot makes it worthwhile.

Flatbread with honey whipped mascarpone, honey caramelized onions, blueberry gastrique, prosciutto, honey whipped goat cheese, arugula, honey vinaigrette and bee pollen! Holy Bee that is quite a few ingredients on this little flatbread.

Whoa! That sounds really good! Too bad it wasn't as good as it sounded.

We had a violet lemonade from Pineapple Promenade.

That sounds right up my alley, too.

We decided to go in and watch the show. We both really enjoyed this. It has recently been refurbished and it looked good.

It made us sleepy again, lol

You are one of the first to check in, do they pick your table? Or if you're early enough do you get to request where you sit?

The nachos are delicious and a good price for Disney, try these!

I actually think we got in line around 7:30. There are 2 different check in areas, one for pre and post parties and the sit down. I do think the earlier you get in line the better seats you will get. The tables are just generally reserved but I think it is luck of the draw which you get. I do think if you are early you can ask the CM for a prime table.
If you have a large party you are seated more in the middle or off center so they can fit everyone. Parties of 2 get the tables right up on the railing and a few parties of 3-4 fit up there as well.
I think it is worth doing at least once!

It has been a rough month, I really appreciate the kindness!
I was surprised how much I had missed Fantasmic and really enjoyed the show! Worth every penny for the inflated Dinner prices!
We do get a lot in for older gals, lol We did take some nice breaks but in all my trips to Disney, I have never buffered in a resort day! Maybe one of these trips I will.
Our September trip will be packed full of activity I will have to keep up with my 23 year old! I better start training now!

Did you see the new change now. If you park hop you will have to pay more for Genie+ now. What a rip off. Disney says it is listening to the guests to simplify things! In what universe does this simplify anything! Just another money grab!
If they listened to the guests this ridiculous made up system would go away! You really need to add another $100 a day to your tickets now for all the “extra costs”

Hoop Dee Doo Dinner Review!

After a quick refresher at WL, we needed to get going to Fort Wilderness.

I really wish Disney would bring back the boat service to FW from WL. Please Disney! This was such a nice boat ride and you had access to CR, WL, and FW.

This made going to Hoop from WL so much easier!

Since the pandemic this has remained closed.

We did not have much time and decided to take a Lyft over to FW. This was quick except once there, you have to get on an internal bus This makes several stops and finally drops you off at the Pioneer Hall area for the Hoop show. It was a little bit of a cluster when we arrived. I did figure out where to check in and get our ticket to give to the hostess.

When I booked, I could only get 2nd tier seats. This was just fine with me. I have been here twice before and always had 2nd tier. I have thought the seats in this area were just fine.

I saw Vanessa @vamassey1 and her family as we walked towards the entrance. We said a quick hi before entering the dinner hall. We were shown to our table and it was off to the left side of the stage but up pretty close.

It was really a nice spot except rather close to the food distribution area. I think that was the only negative.

We both started with the bottomless Sangrias and ice water.

Our waiter was very nice and he did a great job with several large tables and our table.

We were really hungry at this time. Our few little F&G snacks were long gone.

The salad, corn bread, and coleslaw was already on the table.

We started with this and everything was really delicious. It was all very fresh and the cornbread was yum yum yumminess! I could have just had cornbread with butter, the Sangria and I would have been a happy girl!

The performers started coming out and they all came right by our table. It was really nice. The show started and it was funny with so much audience participation. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The main food started to arrive. The fried chicken was so delicious tonight! It was cooked perfectly. This was both of our favorite of the meal. You are also served a variety of sides such as mashed potatoes, Mac n Cheese, baked beans, and of course the ribs. The ribs were tender and very good but the chicken was by far the best on the table.

I have to say we were in bbq heaven! The show was awesome and I would say just about perfect in every way.

We sang and swung our napkins, between mouthfuls of chicken and potatoes! Washing everything down with Sangria, it was a great time.

I did not get a good picture of our food so thank you google for a perfect picture of all the food. This picture shows corn instead of Mac n Cheese. We didn’t have corn and it really wasn’t missed.

The finale was coming and that means the delicious strawberry shortcake! This was so darn good Loved it and a great way to end the meal.

Donna was hiding behind the washboard at the end, haha

I highly recommend doing this dinner show. It is quirky, fun, and the food is delightful. The laughter from the actors is infectious and the only time, we didn’t laugh, was when we were stuffing our faces full of food.

All good things must come to an end. We made our way out to the boat dock. Our plan was a few rides at MK. Remember I had bought Genie+ this morning for Remy, well I was stacking rides in MK for after the show.

We had Pirates, PPF, HM, and BTMR all ready to go. We had a nice boat ride over except for a few unruly children running around and jumping on our bench, again, ugh I was to full to save any this time lol we tried our best to ignore them the best we could, not easy!!

We arrived at MK fairly close to HEA time. We went to our first ride PPF, I love this dark ride!

HM was next. We stopped by the creepy little lady ghost saying “don’t forget your death certificate”

Next up was BTMR, if I wasn’t a clumsy klutz, I would have tried to take a few pictures on the ride of the fireworks but I am not coordinated enough!

Our last ride was on Pirates We did all four of these rides in less than 2 hours! We did not get one of the right pirate pictures this entire trip and we also didn’t get a HM picture tonight.

We were back on the boat by 10pm heading back to WL.

Wow, what a fun evening we had. I hate the cost of Genie and the time it takes to use, however, when it works right you can save loads of time!

We made it back to WL before 10:30pm. It was time to relax and get a good nights sleep Another great day in the books.

Stay tuned for 2 parks and no Genie will we survive?

We took a stroll through the Butterfly Garden and it was really beautiful in there. It wasn’t very crowded to we had time to really check out the butterflies in different stages of life!

I love to wander through there!

We killed the time beautifully and soon it was time to ride Donna’s favorite ride! She love’s Ratatouille and I enjoy it.

I absolutely LOVE Hoop Dee Doo! Definitely a must-do for our next trip. We've been lucky enough to have members of our party be picked to go on stage 3 different times. It was hilarious

Exactly. I think the actual park tickets should be less if you have to add another 50-150 a day depending on the size of your group. For us with just 2 people it will be close to $100.00 for Genie+ and adding on a paid ride to this!
