Feels so good to be addicted to exercise.
Haven’t been addicted to exercise in around 30 years. Always exercise but haven’t been addicted in a long time. You don’t need a peloton I don’t have one. App costs only 12.99 a month after your free trial. Mine was two months free don’t know if they knocked it down to one now. So many things on there.
A guy at work was telling me about peloton app. So decided to give it a try. More than happy with it. You can get it on Apple devices, android, smart tv, roku and probably more.
just figure I will post it here and help someone get back to exercising and maybe get addicted. Well got to go for now time to exercise again.

My insurance began covering the subscription cost this past September. Anyone may check to see if their health care covers Peloton on the website.

I love the strength, cardio dance, barre, and Pilates classes. I bought a Peloton bike, but sold it to a friend. Never got into it as much as outdoor biking. I have a NordicTrack tread that I use for cardio with free iFit app. That is addicting as well. There are worse addictions! Let’s keep on :yay::cheer2:

I love my Peloton classes. Use them every day. The most popular Emma strength class is my favorite. Just a quick 10 minutes before my cardio is perfect. Also like the meditations and stretching. Lots to do other than the actual bike.
Oh gosh, love Emma! Her cycling and arm classes are game changers for me.

Yessssss! I hear you! LOVE my Peloton. Just posted in the workout thread about my obsession. My fav instructors are: Emma, Ben, Cody, Matt Wilpers, Ally Love. Gosh, they are all wonderful. 🚴‍♀️

Peleton the company is in trouble, and is up for sale due to declining revenue streams. That's the bad news. The good news is that two possible suitors are Amazon and Nike.

Note: The headline says the stock gained 20% with the above news, but it was down something like 30% the day before.

Huh. Interesting info. Didn’t know that. Don’t read or watch the news. Too busy working out on my Peloton. 😉

I don't think it's going to affect owners of Peleton equipment. It's just a money thing and somebody is going to snap them up and probably improve both the product and financials.

I'm hooked on iFit. I have the treadmill, bike, and rower (I just got the rower 2 hours ago). Thanks to all the free years of membership that came with each piece of equipment, I am good until Nov 2028.

I am loving the Polynesian and Turks & Caicos Tread series with Stacie and Chris Clark. They are like a mini vacation in my mind.

Can't "get back" to something I haven't done. And don't plan on doing.

Well, that's a lie. I walk ~30minutes/day ~4 times a week. But it has nothing to do with being "addicted" or even "liking" it.

Where do you find that information in your plan? I'm Anthem BCBS and have no idea where to look other than the "discounts" section and I don't see anything there. :(

I'm interested in getting a Nordictrack to trick myself into liking exercise! I like the idea of the bike trails that are like mini vacations :o

I got an email from United Healthcare that I would get the subscription for free, but not the bike. I'd love to hear specific non bike classes you enjoy.

I'll take "Things I'll never say" for 1000 please Alex
When it's fun, it's not exercise. I took my daily exercise on my bicycle and turned it into a 5 day trip from Pittsburgh to DC. 2 weeks later I'm riding 400 miles across NY. A year after that I'm riding and camping for 11 days from Buffalo to Buffalo around Lake Ontario. It was all exercise that wasn't.

Dropped my blood pressure from 149/95 to 118/70. Triglycerides from 475 down to 150. Resting heart rate from 90 bpm to under 60 bpm. Cholesterol and blood sugar from 280's down to 120's.

I did Keto and my numbers dropped like that. They were never quite that high, but they all dropped down to normal range withing about 4 months of starting that. Exercise is one of those things I want to do, but will never actually do. I like yoga and I felt good when I did it. Just in the stage of life where I can't manage to stick with anything consistently enough to make it routine
