I’m SO excited I could CRY! A Polynesian Adventure!! July 2013! Updated 2/9!

Chapter 7: Hopping to Epcot!

After filling ourselves up over breakfast it was time to head out to have some more fun!! MK was getting quite busy at this point so we decided to do some park hopping! On the way out we bumped into one of my favourite people…the Mayor!! He was lovely as always and was asking us all about how London was!

One of my favourite parades then came past! I can’t help but sing along SO loudly when I hear this coming! I just start dancing (I can do the whole thing) as soon as I hear the music starting!! :cool1:

We carried on walking towards the park entrance when we saw Snow White out with no wait! She waved us over so we went to go say hello!! Snow was PERFECT! She was trying to say hello to the “King” (my dad) but he was so involved in trying to take pictures that he did not hear her at all so we spent so long just laughing at my dad not replying to her questions. Instead of saying “cheese” for the photo Snow decided that we should all shout “gooseberries!”.

We said goodbye to Snow and headed for the monorail!! We got a whole monorail to ourselves! WOOPEE!

Before we knew it we were arriving at Epcot! YAY! There’s that beauty!

We hopped off the monorail and walked over to a Marine Biologists dream…The Seas with Nemo and Friends!

As normal there was no queue but it still takes you 10 minutes to walk through the line!! I sang along in my clam shell!!

This was the first time I had noticed the starfish at the end talking and I was DYING! It was so funny! Best part of the ride!

We then went to look around the aquarium! Manatees! Dolphins!! AHH! For someone like me who studies Marine Biology at university I was in heaven!! I had all sorts of interesting facts for my family to learn!!

Hidden Mickey!

I challenged my dad to Mr Ray’s pop quiz! I went on the hard level whilst my dad went on the easy level! AHH 4/4 FULL MARKS! I knew my marine biology knowledge would come in handy! I even emailed my certificate to myself as I was so proud!

I then got to experience something new! Turtle Talk with Crush! Oh my gosh I thought this was HILARIOUS! Some kids were asking some hilarious questions and some very detailed and picky ones too and Crush was coming back with some wonderful answers! I can’t believe I have never seen it before! Definitely a new favourite in Epcot!

FISH ARE FRIENDS, NOT FOOD! :thumbsup2

We then bumped into Terrence!! He was brilliant! He asked us if we had seen Tink around as he was worried she had run out of pixie dust so he asked if we would keep an eye out for her flying! I said we would have to keep an eye out for her walking if she had run out of pixie dust she wouldn’t be flying! Terrance was suddenly SO concerned as he suddenly realised why Tink wasn’t back so he told us to tell her where to walk if we spotted her in World Showcase!

Aurora was out and about next to Terrance so we went to say hello!! She was asking me whether my pink top had been blue that morning and whether the fairies had turned it pink!!

It was then time to go see my little purple friend Figment!! I personally love the newer version of this ride, it makes me so happy!

We did breakdown for about 5 minutes which I really enjoyed as I got to listen and sing-a-long to the song but it definitely started to wind up my family! Oh well!

It was then time to go EXPLORE THE WORLD!

Continued in next post!

Chapter 8: Snack after snack!

We set off around the world!! We strolled nice and slowly through the first few countries till Tally and I decided we were hungry. So we set off in pursuit of food!!

Hey United Kingdom….GO HOME! (Sorry, don't like my own country :lmao: )

The first country we hit that seemed appealing for food today was Japan!

Tally got herself some sushi (BLEURGH….sushi does NOT appeal to me!). She said it was really nice though and ate it all!

She carried it over to the American pavilion and we sat on a wall whilst watching the Fife and Drum corps! WOO GO USA!

However, I wanted something SWEEEET and I knew exactly where I wanted it from! I had never heard of Karamell Kuche before this trip and from what I had read online it looked HEAVENLY. Obviously I chose the biggest thing in the display!

LOOK AT ALL THAT FOOD! Germany, you did good!

I got this MASSIVE rice krispie treat covered in chocolate and caramel! We sat down on a wall in Germany whilst I tried to tackle what I could. I managed about half before I had to admit defeat and put it away in a bag to eat later! (This picture is NOT doing it justice how big it was, seriously it was HUGE!)

We explored a bit more of the pavilions before it was time for Mum to get hungry! She didn’t really mind what food she got so I forced her into trying some School Bread! I have heard SO many good reviews about this (Kristen is basically married to this bread hahaa) so one of us had to try it!! Coconut is NOT my friend so I wasn’t going to try!

There it is in all its glory!

Mum said she enjoyed it but was quite confused at the concept. Dad ate some sort of pretzel at this point but also tried the school bread and liked it!

We then carried on round World Showcase till we saw Mexican Donald!! SO CUTE! Seriously, look at that poncho!!

After saying goodbye to Donald we decided it was time to head towards the exit, but not before doing a few more fun things!

We saw Duffy was out meeting so we jumped in the queue, but Duffy soon had to pop out for 1 minute so we stayed in line.

At this point my Dad decided he was going to be a professional photographer of plants, bees and ducks! Let’s see some of the results shall we?

Whilst dad was trying to get a good picture of this duck Duffy had come back through the line to meet again. However dad had not noticed this and was standing right in Duffys way trying to get this ducks picture! We finally got Dads attention and he moved out the way, awkward situation averted! :lmao:

Duffy definitely gives good hugs!!

Family Photo!! <3

We then decided it was time to visit the old favourite, Spaceship Earth!

This ride will never ever get old! It really is one of my favourites in WDW and I absolutely LOVE it! I always thought the bit at the end with the futuristic computers was SO cool when I was younger. Easily pleased!

It was then time to look at our future….seriously my head shape is so attractive in the future. My dad looks like he senses a bad smell! Totally spending the future in space….

Hey look at us on the big board…FAMOUS! :rotfl:

After coming back down to earth (from my delusion of being famous, clearly) we headed back to the monorail and popped back to the Poly to drop off some stuff and freshen up before dinner!!

Continued in next chapter!

HOORAY AN UPDATE! :cool1:

So much food, yum! I'm not a big fan of sushi either (or any fish at all), but Tally's actually looks pretty good. I bet it's that Disney magic.

I'm pretty positive I drooled just from looking at your Karamel Kuche picture. That rice krispie treat looks SO delicious!

And so does that school bread! YUM!

Mexican Donald is the cutest thing ever. That poncho and that sombrero and EVERYTHING. Just so adorable.

Hahaha I loved that story of how your dad was in Duffy's way because he was trying to take a picture of a duck. :rotfl: The photo came out quite nice!

I admit that I did indeed laugh out loud at your Spaceship Earth future pictures. Making the weirdest possible faces on that ride is a hobby of mine, haha.

Can't wait to see where you're eating dinner!

Just found your trip report and I'm really enjoying it! Congratulations on being accepted into Disney's International Program! Cannot wait to read more!

I NEED to get something from Karamell Kuche. I walked in there 2 times last trip just for smelling purposes.

I personally think the school bread is something that takes getting used to. I liked it when I tried it for my first time. I liked it A LOT MORE when it was 9 hours later and I was starving and in pain ;)

I can not take your face in the future :lmao:

Mmm, that Rice Krispie looks YUMMY! I can definitely tell how big it is, whew! Omg, I can't stand coconut either. I will never be a part of the school bread fandom. Hahahah. Such cute pictures with Duffy!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm following along with your TR! Yay for being accepted into the international program; that must be super exciting!!!

Joining into this TR, and really enjoying it so far! Your family is seriously adorable.

Congrats on being accepted to the ICP!! How exciting! Unfortunately, I won't be visiting at all during that time, or I'd be on the lookout for you. :goodvibes

I'm in!!! I have the SAME fear of flying! So jealous of your super long stay at Poly! I've always dreamed of staying there!!!

Hi there! I stumbled on your TR tonight and I just love your excitement. Congratulations on the College Program!

Also, I had to laugh because when you said your dad was photographing a duck, I thought it was going to be a picture of Donald! Only in Disney!:rotfl2:

HI FRANKIE!

Just caught up on all of this! Barely even into this report and you already got tons done! Wow. I mean, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Poly and Nasa... I thought I was intense when it came to Disney touring lol

Congrats again on getting into the ICP! And you're going to be a LIFEGUARD?!?! OMG! FRANKIE IS TAKING ON TIMMY'S JOB WHILE TIMMY IS ON VACATION! That's awesome. I work as a lifeguard so... I find it weirdly funny that while I'm on vacation, you'll be working at the place where I'm on vacation, oh excuse me, HOLIDAY (I like holiday better) lol We definitely need to talk some more about meeting up, because it needs to happen. I need someone to run through an empty Main Street with me and sing "Seize The Day". Sound good? Okay good. I'll DM you soon.

Can't wait to read more about this trip and hope we'll chat soon (I miss our theater chats)! :mickeyjum
