We had really looked at getting just a single room and it would cost the park stay actually in 1/2 even if we did it at GCH -- which we really liked the park entrance we had planned also renting a cabana at DLH 1 day if we stay at the CGH so the kids could do the other pool for a day.I’m going to suggest if you’re really have your heart set on staying at the Disneyland hotel, that you really think about booking just a standard room and requesting two queen beds and a daybed for your daughter. The daybed is likely to be more comfortable than the pull out sofa in the one bedroom suite.
If you have a dream agent book you they could also put in the request for you.
It would save you quite a bit while keeping you onsite. You could also potentially look at the grand Californian but rooms that sleep five are much harder to come by there.
The only reason we arent doing a single room is we were hoping to have a little privacy for my husband and I -- but then we were also thinking our 14 yr old would want some....even if he said he was totally fine being all in the same room. This is something I am way over thinking TBH my husband & I will have time alone... our oldest is already planning on bringing his sister to do things by themselves in the park. I also am planning a few meals & things just us. It sounds stupid but I almost feel like I need others to 'cosign' this is a good idea vs just doing the 1 bd family suite.
