Hydroflasks at gate

Just confirming we can bring ice-water filled hydroflasks (and similar) into the parks. My daughter read somewhere online that it has to be an empty container. I told I thought she was wrong, but I would check with the experts...
 
I bring Starbucks cups through security all the time. I can’t imagine that a water bottle would be different.
 
Last time I was there was Feb 2018. I always brought in water bottles (metal ones). I agree with reply above, "No Glass Containers" for food or liquid is enforced at bag check.
 

When we were there in April Security had my friend open her large hydro flask. They didn’t smell it but they did a visual check. It only happened once during our 4 day visit
