Does anyone know where to buy a Hydro Flask in Canada, or something similar in quality?

Mountain Equipment Co-Op or maybe Hiker's Haven in Oakville?

Just went to Amazon to order--the shipping fees are wicked! It would probably be simpler and cheaper to purchase Hydro Flask in the US.

Check out the MEC website if you are outside the GTA or Ottawa. I was at the King St. location in TO last week grabbing a few things for our upcoming trip (the sling bags are great for a day in the park).

I posted on Hydro Flasks's facebook yesterday to ask how us Canadians can get these products - will let you guys know if I hear anything back!

I did purchase an insulated waterbottle from kitchen stuff plus recently and while it does keep things pretty cold, the quality is not the best. It has dented easily and the coloured coating is starting to come off in the dishwasher. But for 14.99 less 25% what can you expect?

I think I will make a trip to MEC in the next few weeks and will let you know if I find anything good!!!

Decided to go ahead and order from Amazon, even with outrageous shipping. DH and I vacation in Florida and the Caribbean, so I can see the HFs would be very handy for us.

Did you have a US adress? I tried ordering one off of amazon last night but it told me they could not ship it to Canada.

I have also tweeted hydro flask to find out about Canadian availablity and have not as of yet recieved a response. I will let you all know if I hear anything.

Just after my last post I checked my twitter and sure enough I had a response asking me to DM them and see if we could work something out.

Here is to hoping I can get one.

I spoke to them and they would ship it for thier cost but the best they could find for me was $23.00 for shipping.

I think I will wait till I am in the states again.

No Hydro Flasks in Canada it would seem. With regards to MEC's sling bag, are do you mean like this?

I'm not sure a one-shoulder bag would be for me... I think it would annoy the heck out of me actually. I'll take a trip to the one in the GTA and see what they have.

That is actually the small one. Believe it or not I use that one for work (for a subway commute it is the perfect size). I actually grabbed the bigger one. My DW and I use one as a diaper bag for DD (2), the other for water, sunscreen, hats, etc. Single strap means easy on off, and being smaller than a regular pack means that it is a lot cooler (esp in August when it is hot as ****).

We use the MEC pods at Disney for everyone, they are excellent! The kids use the smaller 7 litre one linked above, and the adults use the bigger 14 litre size. Lots of pockets, not too hot (teardrop shape is better than a regular knapsack). They slip around to front easily for hopping on and off the rides.

I don't know anything about hydro flasks, but that one-shoulder pod sling bag from MEC is a great little bag! I have one and use it all the time as my purse. I wore it during my last WDW trip and it was perfect park bag. It slides around to the front, or the strap unbuckles really quick when you go on rides or sit down to eat. It held everything I needed in the parks- wallet, park maps, poncho water bottle, sunscreen, ect. I :lovestruc this bag!

I ordered from The Green Way Store via Amazon.com The store had no issues processing my order to a Canadian address. But again--the shipping fees are outrageous.

Just took delivery of my Hydro Flasks! Shipping through The Green Way Store was really pricey, but it worked. Also, not the fastest delivery in the world, considering the price.
