Not only did I win a free night in the Hyatt Sweepstakes, but I've actually managed to book the exact hotel and night that I wanted!
Call me cynical but when I received the notification e-mail I thought, yeah right. But we needed a one night stay later this year, have driven past the Grand Cypress many times but never ventured in, so I thought I'd give it a try. I had to phone in order to book and was expecting, not that hotel, not that night, how about Middle of Nowhere, Wisconsin in February?
But instead I got the Grand Cypress on the night I wanted, and was even offered a choice of double or king room.
