Does anyone know if they offer a roll away bed? My family of 4 will be staying 1 night before our cruise but the though of my kids sharing a bed is dangerous (one is a "SLEEP KICKER") and i am sure the other will wake with a black eye! I see they have a suit with a pull out couch but it looks to only come with a king bed, so that is no help.

Great! Did you just ask for it when you got there or did you do it when you booked? How much was the fee for it?

There was no extra fee when we asked for it at check in. Just checked my bill and the only fee was for the room itself.

Have a great trip!

IIRC they will not allow a rollaway in a room that sleeps 4. Is their computer allowing you to book 4 in a king-bedded room? I didnt think it would. I would call and verify. We stayed once with a group of 19 and though our rooms were booked for 2 double beds they didnt have enough. They offered a rollaway and my SIL was happy with tween boy and girl.

Yes, I called the manager and asked what she suggests for my two kids that won't sleep in a bed together. She said get a king room with a sofa bed and request a rollaway bed. She said that rollaways won't fit in the rooms with two beds so they don't allow it.

OK so I understand this correct I have to get a king room with a sofa, then ask for a roll away? Does all king rooms have a sofa sleeper or just the suits?

last thing on the list was no rollaways :furious:

Ugh! So you don't think I'm crazy, here's the email below. Ha ha! I may have to call again for peace of mind.

Good Morning,

Greetings From Orlando!

Thank you for considering Hyatt as a stop on your trip! There are a couple of options you can do for rooms. You can book 2 connecting rooms if you were looking for the maximum space. We also have our deluxe king, and junior suites, both rooms have a king size bed, a pull out sleeper sofa the same size as one of our double beds, and we can bring a twin size rollaway into the room to accommodate one of the children. Unfortunately a room with 2 double beds is not big enough to accommodate a rollaway. If you would like to make reservations you may log onto our website www.orlandoairport.hyatt.com for the most up to date rates, and availability, or you may contact one of our Global Reservation Team Members at 800-233-1234.

Warm Regards,

I guess I will have to call them, because the email says ok but the website says no lol

I requested a rollaway in our Jr Suite (2 teens 1 girl/1 boy) and they accommodated my request & it was in our room all set-up when we checked in (early evening). I requested it when I made our reservation calling the Hyatt directly. The rollaway is twin size.....I will describe it as a deluxe rollaway that has a wood frame and is larger than the average rollaway. To me it might be too large to fit in a regular room that has 2 beds. No extra cost for the rollaway. Our room included 1 king bed & pull-out couch.....so my kids sharing the pull-out wasn't an option.

Actually the website has an issue I think. On the king rooms... standard, deluxe and jr suites it says both rollaways upon request AND no rollaways. The double rooms just say no rollaways. I think its an error.

I added a rollaway to our online reservation for our deluxe king room and within a few hours had an email from the concierge that my request was confirmed and would be in our room.
