Husband diagnosed with T1 colon cancer. Need advice.... Update 4/5

Wanted to come here and update this thread. Hubby had his surgery on 3/31 laparoscopically and was able to come home on 4/3. The surgeon called a little while ago and there were no cancer cells detected, so no need for chemo. Thank you all for your thoughts and advice, I appreciate it so much. I have no idea if he will feel like trying to take a quick trip down before returning to work, his surgeon is pretty cool about things, told him that he could probably drive within a week. We see him on Thursday, may try to slip off down to the beach in a few weeks.
