Okay, we're going on vacation as a family but I do not do haunted houses nor do my little ones LOL We will be going to Universal Orlando together, but when the park closes for HHN, he will stay with my oldest son and they will enjoy HHN while we :confused3 ?

We will be driving, and staying on Disney Property.....so is there other transportation or will I need to come back and pick them up after midnight? There will be 5 of us going back to the hotel....so calling a cab to take us back to Disney won't work. I hate the thought of going all the way back to Universal to pick them up though....so what would be your suggestion?

Is the other park open? Can we hang out over there? Staying up late won't be an issue for my younger kids...but I figured the other park was closed or both of them had HHN going on...we've not been so I really don't know what our options are.

Thanks!!!

The parks are next to Citywalk, so maybe you could find something to keep you busy/entertained there. Citywalk has an AMC movie theater. You could probably hang out at one of the restaurants (Margaritaville, HRC, Nascar Grill, NBA City, Bubba Gumps) and enjoy the atmosphere and any entertainment they might have available for that night.

It's a lot of hours to keep them busy LOL especially with no rides....those pass the time rather quickly because of the wait times. I'm thinking maybe I'll just have to leave and pick them up later....although last time I left Universal by myself I got lost LOL Maybe I'll be okay with the GPS or some major written directions....I'm not too good with navigational stuff. Still the taxi seems really expensive and from what I've read the Lynx buses are a couple of stops to make it back to Disney property. Movies would be a GREAT idea....but then I just checked and I think HHN runs till 2:00 or so on Friday nights? That's 2 or 3 movies LOL....probably a bit much. Well, or it could be 2 movies and a meal....LOL, we've done that before.

Wonder how late the movie theater is open....and the restaurants.

IOA is only open until 7pm on HHN nights so you could only hang out there for a while. As the others have stated...you could have a nice dinner at CityWalk and then a movie. If your husband and son are going to stay until HHN closes at 2am, that's a long time to wait. I think I would head back to the resort and have them take a cab back. I know it might be expensive but your group wouldn't have to drive around the tourist area late a night. Plus your husband and son could grab a cab once they are ready to leave...if they don't want to stay til the end of the night.

I just think everyone would be more comfortable doing their own thing. I know I would.
:thumbsup2
