I had originally signed up for it, and it was about 35days later i changed my mind and wanted my $120 back, so I called up, and they said you only had 30 days from when you sign up, so i *****ed alot, threatened to cancel entire vacation, ect... and they canceled it. I certainly wouldnt wait to long once you sign up

My husband and I were AT Disneyworld last August when "hurricane Ernesto" *ahem* hit. There were all these predictions about the wind and rain. The day of the hurricane turned out to be pretty much a really rainy day...and that's it. It was the BEST day of our honeymoon. We had Magic Kingdom practically to ourselves. We were allowed to stay on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder as many times as we wanted without getting off and back into line. The park was deserted. We had so much fun!! We were definitely soaked...well our feet were, but we had our trusty Mickey Ponchos and our flip flops and were all set!

As far as I know, if you cancel your trip b/c of hurricane you do get refunded, but I could be HUGELY wrong on that...but that's how I understand the policy. I can't remember if there has to be a confirmed hurricane, or if you only get a refund if flights are canceled b/c of weather...I think it's a different situation all together if you if cancel your trip way in advance b/c you THINK there MIGHT be a hurricane...

All that being said, sometimes it's hard to tell what will happen with a hurricane "Prediction". It would be awful to cancel your vacation only to find out that it was merely a soggy day and nothing more. Of course Florida knows hurricanes and if it was going to be truly bad I'm sure having your trip insured would be a positive thing. We always get trip insurance.

good luck!! Hopefully there will be no hurricanes during anyone's Disney vacation!!:goodvibes
