We are flying down the east coast of the US Tuesday morning (Fredericton, NB to Montreal to Orlando) and of course am a little worried that Hurricane Sandy will delay or even cancel our flight :scared:. Anyone else flying down the east coast that day?

We are flying out tomorrow:yay:, I haven't heard a thing. The storm should be out of range before you fly.:cool1:

Really hard to tell what it will be doing by then, but they sure are forecasting for a big mess along the upper US east coast around that time.

This hurricane is supposed to merge with another system and then slowly move east. What will happen is there will be lots of airports from Toronto, east to St. John's, and south to Washington which will all be affected in some way through to mid-week. There will be rain and wind and some airports will have delays which will affect flights to all the other airports. How much? We will have to wait and see. Sorry, and hopefully things will work out for you.

Hi there were sitting on the fantasy right. Now after a very long night on board!! Glasses broken everywhere, the ship stores are a complete wreck with everything on the floor!! Horrible swells were hitting the boat! We had to hold outside the harbor until the coastguard said it was ok to come in. We haven't started disembarkation yet and we had to cancel castaway cay!!! Bummer! The good news is that the hurricane is now above where we are. Best of luck
