We are suppose to arrive in Orlando tomorrow at 4:30. That could be right in the middle of that storm. Has anyone been diverded because of something like this? My real concern is Cirque tickets at 9. We could miss this all together. Help! Somebody stop this thing. Any rainout refunds? Probably not but somebody sooth my mind please. How bad before a plane is diverted?
Ok any prayers will be welcome. Thanks gang!

In my opinion... I'd cancel your Cirque tickets and try to get a refund now... or change the date...
Looks like that's when the storm is due to hit Orlando... don't chance it.

You may be diverted... you just never know with these storms.

Good luck.

Yeah, that's definitely not the best timing. Whether it stays a tropical storm or becomes a hurricane, the worst of the weather would probably be passing through around that time. You definitely don't want to be driving in it.

Unfortunately they still never know until the last minute what these things are gonna do. Right now it is still moving west, hasn't even turned north so we still don't know when it will turn which has a huge impact on how it will affect the east or west coast of Florida.

I would say keep watching the updates throughout the day on the tracking.

Chances are that there will be flight cancellations tomorrow. Some will start in the early morning, some may be later. I would start on some contigency plans.

I'd try to reschedule if possible.

My prayers to everyone who has to go through this storm.

I sent you a Private Message, please let me know if I can help out.

I would reschedule and try to be refunded....or something like that....Ernie doesn't look like something to mess with honestly. It is predicted to be a Category 2 when it hits us here, or at least that is what my mom told me. (I'm in Ft. Lauderdale) So I would try to change plans as much as possible. Keep in mind that at least during the storm there won't be much for you to do, since it's not exactly safe to walk through, but after, as long as WDW doesn't have much damage, you should be fine. Your best bet would probably be to call Disney, and see what their plans are so far for the hurricane, especially if you are planning Magical Express to take you from the airport. Calling your airline might also be a good idea, and see what they say to do with your flight. Is there anyway you can leave for Orlando tonight, so your flight doesn't get canceled? Just a thought, but most likely you'll either arrive early or late, I doubt you'll arrive on time.......

I do pray that you will still have a good vacation, and try to enjoy yourself. Plans might be somewhat changed, but Disney is still Disney! Don't let Ernie get you down. :)

Good Luck and stay safe.

The shows for tomorrow are still on schedule, however, they are currently allowing you to move your tickets to another date and/or giving a refund for your tickets for tomorrow nights performances. Just FYI, I know CDSTapisRouge can help you if you need assistance. Just wanted to let you know that the options are avaiable.

DD and I flew home to Orlando just about the time Wilma moved through the area. I have never been on such a rough flight and I've flown a lot. DD was very nervous. After we landed, the plane was rocking back and forth so much as we taxied to the terminal that I started to feel sick. As we entered the terminal, we heard that our flight was the last one in. The closed down the airport. The winds were about 40mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph.

We drove home from the airport in blinding rain and wind. I actually took a wrong turn because I couldn't see where I was going. Thank goodness there were basically no other cars on the highway. I never want to fly or drive in something like that again.

I would think they will cancel flights as Ernesto moves through.
