Does Disney's hurricane policy apply to DVC reservations?

Technically, no.

But DVC has always worked with members when hurricanes have forced their flights to be canceled, and either restored points or rescheduled their vacations, when possible. They have been very good about emergency situations, bith weather and personal. But they are under no direct obligation to do so.

Makes me feel just the teeniest bit better that I didn't purchase the trip insurance. Of course, the day after the last day I could, TS Fay was announced. I started to freak! A hurricane in Sept was the main reason I was considering the insurance. Now I'll just have to take a risk
